You want to talk about a daycare that goes above and beyond? Well let me give a condensed version: after an incident at a different daycare left my daughter injured and scared, Learning Adventures extended such kindness by offering a spot immediately and allow her to test the waters in her own time. She immediately fell in love with the teachers there and it made me so happy and humbled that the owners would go out of their way to help my daughter without the mention of tuition. Now, when my son began to attend with a severe medical condition, the owners were on board, prepping and preparing to help him out in any way they could. I can still remember Felicia offering to watching feeding videos to make sure she (and the classroom teachers) were prepared to feed him according to his specialists. I mean the fact that she went out of her way to include my special needs son speaks more than volumes. Now my littlest one attends and I love getting the daily feedback, mementos, and my daughter is so incredibly happy in her classroom. All my children have attended Learning Adventures and I could not think of a better environment for any child. The staff is very hands on, and loving. Morning and afternoon drops offs are quick, efficient, and each staff member (regardless of who is at the door) addresses my daughter by her name- really showcasing that they all know and love the kids. If there is every a problem, such as an accident, severe weather, etc. the staff is quick to send out texts and alerts to keep us informed. We love getting all the news for parties and celebrations happening in the classroom! I love the way they provides hugs to the kids and really take the time to send/share cute pictures or notes throughout the day! Learning Adventures has been incredible to our family and they can be to yours as well!!! Trust in quality and in care

Such a lovely daycare! My kids have been going here since January, and we've had nothing but good experiences. The staff is very friendly, and they genuinely care about the children! There's a perfect balance of learning and play, and they give good, personal feedback every day about what the kids did. Thanks for all you guys do!!!

I’m writing the in-depth review I wish I had read before selecting this daycare for my 2-year-old and infant. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a gentle and nurturing environment that will foster a love for school and learning in your little ones.
This place was an absolute mad town. Every. Single. Day. My 2-year-old’s central nervous system was in absolute shock for the first month. Then, my once super-sweet and wildly loving two-year old became defiant, started hitting, yelling, throwing things, and being mean to his baby brother. These were all behaviors I observed at LA during drop off/pick-up. Not to mention, he regressed in ALL aspects, specifically potty training, social-emotional, and general knowledge (shapes, colors, numbers). During my tour, the owner (Felicia) assured me that if I had any issues, I could bring it to her attention, except I could never get ahold of her. I would call the center; she was not there and she wouldn’t return my phone calls. I would ask for her at pick-up/drop-off and she was not there. An absent leader was my first indication that things were not running smoothly. This & the fact that there was a revolving door of staff that does not communicate among one another. I often had to bridge the gap in communication between the teachers because I would pick up my son and he was wearing pull-ups (he doesn’t wear pull-ups other than for nap time), a pull up with an underwear over it, and even some other kid’s underwear one time – when he had his own in his bag! This is a leadership issue. The teachers were doing their best, usually. Teachers are constantly out of ratio, and instead of covering down to rectify, Felicia leaves staff out to dry, struggling with being out of ratio. It is no wonder why people quit this place. In the four months that we were here, the entire staff had turned over except for the pk3 teacher and someone who stepped up to go into the infant room BY HERSELF when both of the previous teachers left.
My two-year-old contracted HFMD at the end of February, then gave it to our infant later in the weekend. I kept them home for TWO FULL WEEKS and it wasn’t until day 9 or 10 that someone reached out via ProCare to see if they were okay. What if my children had been in danger or hospitalized? They don’t care. As long as you pay on the 1st of the month, your kid could be dying and they wouldn’t care to check in on them. I am not convinced that they knew HFMD was circulating and didn’t inform parents or do a thorough sanitation. The center has a very distinct and unpleasant smell. It smelled like mold and just plain dirty. The smell stays on your children’s clothes and backpacks when they come home. The place frankly looks run down; like it is not maintained properly, especially the bathrooms in the front. Owners do not take pride in their business. There is free access to the center – no passcodes to enter, no physical security in place. This is not safe.
We absolutely loved a few staff members such as the infant teacher Chloe, two-year-old teacher Jamie, and the manager Kam. But outside of the interactions with them, it was a nightmare. Unfortunately, the good people who work here will eventually fall prey to the inattentive and toxic ownership and quit. Who will bear the brunt of that? The children that attend this center.
Towards the end of our time, I walked in on two occasions to a newer teacher SCREAMING at a two-year-old in my son’s class. The first time, though I was not thrilled, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, the second time it happened I brought it to the attention of another staff member, who informed the owner, but nothing was done about it. Par for the course. When you have to leave your children anywhere while you go work, you don’t want to have to wonder if their general well-being is being compromised. Excuse me while I engage in deep behavior modification and regroup before my child starts PK3 in August. Don’t send your children here.
