Learning Journey Childcare

This daycare should be deeply investigated and be shut down. My son recently started talking and started telling me the teacher would hit him. Countless times did my son come home with bruises, deep cuts, and bite marks yet NO ONE knew anything. If you want to take your child to a daycare where no incident report is done, and items are constantly being misplaced and lost enroll your child/children here. Cameras are available but apparently are never working when situations happen and video needs to be reviewed. So shady. Go elsewhere

The daycare has great potential. I had a horrible experience with Irma Ruiz one of the toddler teachers. Later I heard from other parents their kids were also coming home with bruises. So I would not recommend that teacher at all. I had no problems with any of the other teachers and the owners were really nice.

My son has been there since he was 1 year old, he’s now 3, and has loved every of it. He loves his teachers and sometimes doesn’t even want to leave. We haven’t had any issues whatsoever and if there’s any accidents, the teachers are quick to tell us.

I have had my son with Teacher Irma Ruiz for over a year. I had tried two other daycares and my son had difficulty adjusting, this center was highly recommended by a colleague . It was amazing how quickly he adjusted to teacher Irma. I was allowed to pop in at anytime and I always witnessed her giving curriculum and interacting with the children in a loving nurturing way. She would send me pictures and updates throughout the week ( I was a nervous first time Mom). I knew my son was doing well because not only did he grow to love her but had outstanding learning outcomes. He is now with teacher Viti and Rosie and I am very pleased! The center has cameras in the rooms and a main monitor in the office which gives an added security and transparency. She works with an amazing team from the owner, to the manager to the beautiful lady that cooks the meals and worries about my sons appitite. This center is like a second home for my son and all the staff are awesome! I highly recommend this center.

I have four beautiful little boys and they have been in the care of the wonderful teachers at Learning Journey Childcare going on four years. I have visited and experienced many childcare facilities and not one has stood out to me and made a difference in mine and my children’s lives the way that Learning Journey Childcare has. The teachers are dedicated to their jobs and constantly show that they enjoy being there. My youngest started in the baby room and will now be graduating from the preschool class. All the teachers have made a difference in our lives. When my youngest was with teacher Irma, his vocabulary and educational awareness flourished. I would walk into her classroom when I picked him up and remember feeling so happy to see my child learning his shapes, numbers, and being read to at such a young age. Teacher Irma is one of the most caring and loving teachers I have ever met! Teacher Irma cares for all the children in the morning along with the great woman who works hard to feed my children, teacher Lolis. Both of these teachers greet parents as they walk in and interact with the children in a respectful and loving way. In the kitchen and eating area, my boys have learned responsibility and accountability because teacher Irma and teacher Lolis have allowed them to be helpers when it comes to passing out napkins or picking up their own plates when they are done eating. Another teacher that has made a tremendous impact in my son’s life is his preschool teacher “teacher Dela” (my son pronounces her name that way or just shortens it to teacher lol). She works heard to create and implement a well-rounded curriculum. I have visited many childcare facilities that say they have a curriculum yet they never are seen teaching it. At Learning Journey Childcare, they all take the time to teach the children their curriculum. ‘Teacher Dela” has impressed me time after time by teaching my children the curriculum in sign language, Spanish, and English. The teachers of Learning Journey Childcare have created the best childcare facility that my children have ever attended! I would not change a thing!
