The classrooms are always clean, child care sheets are always filled out and the best part low to no turnover rate. My child has the same caregivers everyday. Once you gwt in, you probably won't leave.

I really had high hopes for this facility, because it’s convenient to our home and we were told there was space available for our toddler. Unfortunately, too many red flags.
I called a week prior to get pricing, check for vacancies and schedule a walk through. I was told there would be 2 slots available as early as Sept 3rd and I was given the price for the slot. We were scheduled for the following Friday, August 23rd, for the walk through. 1st đźš© This would be nap time for not only our toddler, but the children there. We would have liked to see the children interact with the teachers and admin, rather than walk through and they are sleeping. Children give their true reaction to adults w/o saying a word, by their interaction, but no biggie.
A few days prior to our appointment I stopped by, alone, to pick up the paperwork. My intention was to have everything filled out, have our payment and documents prepared had the walk through been successful. I get to the daycare, ring the doorbell and an older gentleman (assuming the owner after reading the reviews) slides through the cracked door and closes the door behind him. No big deal! I’m a stranger, I came unannounced, safety for the children and staff. 2nd 🚩 It was more so his demeanor and tone that I didn’t care for. He was very cold and uninviting. Still, I explain I have an appointment coming up for my toddler and want to be proactive and pick up the paperwork. He asks several questions regarding my two year old. Slides back through the cracked door, closes it behind him and leaves me on the porch for about 10-12 mins to get the packet. I waited patiently. I never made a fuss about the wait b/c I figured I came unannounced. He finally comes back out the cracked door, hands the packet to me and I leave.
The day before my appointment I call to verify the slot was still available and that we were still on the books for the walk through. He answers the phone and confirms, yes. Friday comes we (me, my husband, our toddler and 3 month old) arrive around 1:12pm. Originally we were told between 1pm & 2pm. When calling to confirm I was told 1:30pm. While ringing the doorbell, 3rd🚩, an employee comes from around the building on the phone, holding a dark gray dog in her arms. This was alarming b/c my toddler has terrible allergies, so I wasn’t sure if the dog being on site was a normal thing. I explain we had an appointment. She looks confused, but asks 1/1:30? Again, she isn’t very inviting. I explain what I was told about the times. She says okay and says their appointments are at 1 or at 1:30. She says she was going to get “our paperwork” (we hadn’t submitted any paperwork. She didn’t even ask if we filled anything out. The packet I opted to pick was in our car b/c I wanted to see how we liked the facility and staff first) and that she would be right back. She walks in, closes the door behind her and leaves us on the porch, in the sun, with our babies. SEVERAL minutes go by and she does not come back. Not to check back in with us. Nothing! Even if we were invited to stand in the foyer or entrance while she prepared for our walk though, or if she explained that they would prefer to start at 1:30, we would have waited in our car with no problem, in the air with our little ones. We were left on their porch again! Finally, after waiting for so long, our 3 month old started to get fussy and our toddler restless (b/c he hadn’t finished his nap, so we could prepare to be there on time). SHE STILL NEVER CAME BACK. I was completely blown away by that. We finally decided to head back to the car. We waited to see if she would come back out. SHE NEVER CAME BACK! We decided to leave.
Needless to say, we didn’t get our walk through. We never heard back from them. Not even a follow up call to explain why we were left on the porch for an obscene amount of time or to see if a better time would have worked better. Nothing! I really felt they didn’t want us there. I am glad this behavior was displayed before we enrolled our child and he was overlooked or mistreated.

I’ve been with Learning Junction for some years now and I still feel it’s the best daycare around. The transition from one daycare to this one was handled with care and thoughtfulness. The owner, Mr. Gene Sutton, handles his business with care and structure. His Asst, Ms Whitney is as sweet as pie and extremely helpful. The teachers are amazing and I’ve never had to worry about the welfare of my kids while there. My girls don’t want to leave when I pick them up🤗.

My daughter attended for 4K and summer care….this has been one of the best childcare centers, love them and how organized and friendly they are. I loved hearing all about what my daughter was learning when she would come home! The summer care has impressed me too, they are actually still learning in the summer! I’m pregnant again and want this baby to definitely be at Learning Junction!

This place was the most highly-recommended childcare center by our friends and co-workers. And they are not wrong. Two of my children came here for a combined 5 years. The teachers are attentive and professional, Mr. Gene and Ms. Whitney are amazing, and the dedication they have towards safety, cleanliness, and communication is truly exceptional. Cannot recommend enough!
