We’ve had a great experience with the teachers and staff at Learning Jungle—they genuinely care for the kids and provide excellent instruction. Unfortunately, all of that is being overshadowed by terrible corporate leadership and management decisions. Since Learning Jungle took over, we’ve dealt with repeated HVAC issues—this isn’t a one-time thing. Most recently, the AC has been out since Wednesday, June 25th, and as of June 30th, it’s still not fixed. This has happened multiple times over the past couple of years and it's beyond frustrating—it's costly, disruptive, and completely avoidable. Parents have had to take time off work and rearrange their schedules because the facility can’t maintain safe temperatures. It feels like the company is simply too cheap to replace failing HVAC systems, and as a result, families are forced to suffer. It’s a shame to see such good educators being let down by poor corporate oversight. The kids, the teachers, and the parents all deserve better. Until Learning Jungle’s leadership decides to invest in proper facility maintenance and prioritize families over profit, I can’t recommend them.

This school has changed dramatically since it was purchased by an international company. Hope Valley Preschool came highly recommended by friends and neighbors whose children attended years ago, but our experience over the past year was not a positive one. We experienced: Negative language around toileting (“yucky,” “nasty,” “don’t use potty words”) that led to feelings of shame and embarrassment related to toileting, ultimately affecting our child’s willingness to use the bathroom at school and contributing to patterns of withholding. Negative language from teachers in older classrooms—we witnessed a teacher tell a crying child that he could stand in the corner until he pulled himself together. On our final day, I witnessed three teachers yelling and/or speaking negatively to three different groups of children. High teacher turnover—our child’s favorite teachers are no longer employed here. No response/communication from administrators—I was asked by the director to email my concerns to the district manager, who never responded. Two teachers being pulled apart from physically fighting. To LJ’s credit, these teachers were fired, but I’m kicking myself for not leaving the school sooner after witnessing that. Ultimately, the older classrooms were not nurturing environments for my child, and we unenrolled. My child did not feel secure or safe, and I was not comfortable leaving my child here any longer.

The director is amazing. She has a real love for kids and is all about the kids needs and make sure she keeps them safe. The staff also does a great job teaching my children and keeping a nice clean safe and healthy environment. I love this daycare so much I will always refer people kids there.

Our infant-care experience at the Learning Jungle Hope Valley has been exceptionally positive. As first-time parents, we were obviously nervous about starting our 4-month-old in daycare. Our baby's transition at the Learning Jungle was seamless. Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Niki, Ms. Lydia, Ms. Tracey, Ms. Shanei, Ms. Thoko, Ms. Taniya, Ms. Kia, and all of the infant room teachers show our baby so much love and kindness while providing great communication back to us as parents. We could not recommend this facility more for any new parents and are so grateful for the team there! Thank you to the amazing staff at this wonderful community.
