My son has been attending Learning Zone Century City since January, and I truly cannot say enough great things about this school. From day one, the staff has been welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in my child’s well-being and development. As a parent, it brings me so much peace of mind knowing that my son is in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment every day. The teachers are not only professional but also kind, patient, and loving—they treat my child like their own. I’ve seen noticeable growth in his communication skills, social interaction, and overall confidence since he started attending. The school keeps me informed with regular updates through Tadpoles and makes me feel like a true partner in my child’s early learning journey. The classrooms are clean, organized, and filled with engaging activities that support learning through play. I also appreciate their focus on routines, manners, and emotional development, which are so important at this age. I feel confident that my son is receiving high-quality care and education, and I am incredibly grateful for the support and dedication of everyone at Learning Zone Century City. If you're looking for a place where your child will be cared for, challenged, and celebrated, this is it!

This Learning Zone location has been amazing for my two daughters! Compared to the previous daycare, there is a night and day difference in how happy they are! There are some places you walk in and you just know that this is the place. My daughters have grown leaps and bounds under Megan and Denisha and their staff! My oldest will literally ask where teachers are so she can give them a hug before we leave for the day. You couldn’t pay me enough money to switch them out because of how well they treat my kids!

After a heartbreaking experience at The Gardner School of Nashville, where my daughter was mistreated horribly, The Learning Zone was truly a lifesaver for our family. As a military spouse with my husband deployed and myself balancing full time college, I needed a place that was not only safe but supportive and Ms. Megan and her incredible staff provided just that and more. From the moment I reached out, I felt heard. Ms. Megan helped enroll my daughter in less than a week, something I never imagined was possible. She was compassionate, efficient, and deeply understanding of our urgent situation. With Ms. Kia, the difference in my daughter was immediate. At her previous daycare, she cried every single day and clung to me at drop off. At The Learning Zone? She walks into class after saying goodbye to Mom, smiling and does not cry anymore! She adores her teachers, and I truly believe they adore her back. I’ve seen how they greet her, how they speak to her with patience and joy, and how they communicate with me consistently and professionally. Drop offs have always been smooth for us. Staff are always present and helpful. And the communication has been nothing short of respectful and responsive. As someone who once lived in fear every day of leaving her child at the wrong daycare, I can’t express how comforting it is to walk away knowing my daughter is not just supervised, but cared for, encouraged, and loved. That peace of mind is priceless, and it’s because of Ms. Megan and her team. I trust them completely. And my daughter? She thrives here.

My son went to LZCC for almost 3 years. We were met with quality communication and a lot of support. He always felt lots of love and thrived with confidence. I highly recommend this school to any family!

We were with Learning Zone since my daughter was around 1 year old up until she was 5, and my son has been there since he was an infant. We've watched the center under Casey, Brandy, and now Megan. Under Casey and Brandy, we felt confident, secure, and overall extremely happy with the care our children were provided. We even recommended Learning Zone to other parents in the area. I'm not exactly sure when leadership was changed from Brandy to Megan. All I know is the stark contrast between the way the center was ran under Casey and Brandy, and the absolute train wreck Megan is responsible for. There are several instances I will provide as examples that display the unorganized chaos that Megan's leadership has demonstrated, but there is one sentiment I'd like to use to sum up how I felt every day. There was not a single morning after I dropped off my son that I felt good or confident that he would be taken care of the way he needs or deserves to. 1. We never had any idea where we were supposed to drop him off. Ever. We were promised there would be a system in place at least 3 times, including signs on doors and greeters at the front who would "direct" parents to the appropriate rooms. That never happened. 2. Because of the unorganized drop offs, numerous times his items were "lost" or unable to be found. I can't count how many times he's been sent home in another child's diapers, specifically girl diapers, despite the fact that if diapers are needed, we ALWAYS made sure to bring them in. 3. The final straw was how the entire staff handled potty training. We communicated to my son's teacher that he needed to be potty trained by July 7 for his new daycare. We were actively working with him at home and he was doing great on the potty, he just needed some encouragement. One morning when I dropped my son off with backup shorts and underwear (I believe 5 pairs each), his room was closed (as always), so I had to drop him off in a different room. I knew this was going to be a huge issue because nothing ever gets communicated between the staff, so I knew he would be in poor hands and likely uncomfortable the entire day. I tried telling the first teacher he was potty training, but she could not understand what I was saying (I don't think she speaks English). She flagged another teacher, who looked at me like potty training was a foreign concept that I made up in my head. Since I didn't trust the message got received appropriately, I stopped by the front desk and spoke to the ASSISTANT MANAGER, who took notes that were fairly straight forward: "(My son's name) is potty training, he's in underwear, please encourage him every 30 minutes or so to use the potty. He may have an accident, but that's okay, just work with him please." When my husband picked him up that evening, my son had a diaper on, and underwear ON TOP OF THE DIAPER. 4. The quality of the staff since Megan took over is apples and oranges. We had several impactful, caring, loving teachers pre-Megan. I need to reiterate that after Megan took over, not only did I not have faith my son was properly being taken care of, but nothing my husband or I communicated to ANY MEMBER OF THE STAFF was taken seriously. The feeling of having nowhere else to take my son (daycare lists are at least a year out) but not trusting anyone at the center made me sick every single day. The teachers in the center act like they could care less. No greeting in the morning, no effort to make my son feel welcome, no report at the end of the day, no updates, no anything. I've truly never seen a group of people that could care less than the staff members you currently have at that daycare right now. I wish I could shout all of these things from the rooftops to warn other parents and tell them to avoid this iteration of Learning Zone at all costs. The one with the lazy, passive, uncaring director and her incompetent, immature, sluggish staff. It's sad that the place I used to rave about is the one I have never been so happy to leave.
