We sent our daughter to Les Petits Curieux for two years until we left the area and loved it as did our daughter. The staff are great, the owner home cooks nutritious (organic) food for the kids, they don’t seem to do screen time, they stay open most snow days even when the local schools are closed, the kid get lots of play and activity time. Our daughter had a lot of friends there and really loved the teachers. Would certainly recommend.

Sandy is the best. Full stop. She genuinely cares about the children she and her staff oversee. We've sent our son here since he was 1.5 yrs old. Unfortunately, we have to leave due to a move. Nothing but great things to say about her and her staff. Our son looks forward to going to day care every single day. She keeps them on a very regimented schedule every day. Morning snack, play time, organized activity, nap time, lunch, afternoon snack. Her operational hours are great, 730-6. She goes above and beyond for kids birthdays, holidays, etc. She goes wayyy above what her rate is. Shes closed major holidays which is good, she needs breaks like everyone else! Drop off / pick up are easy due to her location being in a residential area. Parents, remember; daycare is extremely competitive in this area. Be grateful if you are her client. My husband and I have been sending our 2 year old son to Les Petits Curieux since he was 5 months old. He absolutely loves going to daycare and it is clear from his interactions with Ms. Sandy that he is well cared for. Ms. Sandy provides ample time for free play with a variety of toys and takes on children of varying ages, which provides a dynamic learning environment for the kids. She feeds the kids organic food (bonus - you don't have to pack a lunch!) and compared to many other french-speaking day cares she is a real bargain! She has flexible work hours and prioritizes outdoor play. She takes the kids to a variety of places, such as the library, spraygrounds, and various parks. We love her so much that we convinced my sister to bring her baby to Les Petits Curieux too!

Both of our kids go there. It’s one of the best in-home daycare centers in the area. Kids do all types of group activities. They spend quality time in the back yard as well as in near parks and Shirlington library for story time. Organic lunches and snacks are provided. They also do unique birthday and other celebrations, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas parades. Our kids love it there and it’s a piece of mind for us to leave them in such great care.
