Lil Treasures Daycare has been nothing short of amazing for our daughter. From the moment we toured, Mayra and her daughter Jocy struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth—always organized and communicative and always there for anything we needed. Our little one went to the daycare from 18m till ~3y when we moved her to a preschool. She largely benefitted from the mixed age classroom. She went from just being able to say a few words to confidently naming planets, reciting days of the week, and explaining the life-cycle of a butterfly. The transition to preschool has been effortless because she already thrived on a structured schedule and had learned true independence—feeding herself, cleaning up, and following classroom rules. Each day blended hands-on “jobs” that built fine and gross motor skills with language, math, history and science themes. Monthly newsletters laid out exactly what they were studying so we could reinforce it at home. Daily time on their private playground helped her coordination and, just as importantly, her friendships. Mayra always kept us in the loop, it felt like a true partnership. She sent amazing photo updates often and worked with us on milestones and skills. She always had the most effective parenting tips — For instance how to best encourage potty learning, managing big emotions and toddler tantrums effectively and mentally preparing our little one to welcome a sibling. I often heard other parents say, “We’re back with our second child because the first had such a wonderful experience,” and now I understand why. Knowing my daughter was safe, loved, and learning something new every day was priceless. If you want a daycare where children flourish, Lil Treasures is your go to. We feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of this daycare family—thank you, Ms. Mayra and Jocy, for setting our daughter up for success!

Lil Treasures Daycare has been an incredible place for our daughter (graduated from Ms. Mayra's daycare and now in preschool) son (starting preschool), and we couldn’t recommend it more! Both my kids attended from infancy until they went to preschool (~3y), and during that time, they absolutely flourished under the loving care of Mayra and her daughter Jocy. We are probably the third family to send our second child to Ms. Mayra, and for good reason! Almost every family who entrusted their first child to her ended up enrolling their younger children as well—unless they moved out of state! That speaks volumes about the warm, nurturing, and enriching environment she provides. Ms. Mayra and Jocy create a place where kids feel safe, loved, and excited to learn, and we are so grateful to have been part of their daycare family! From day one, we appreciated the warm, nurturing environment and the personalized attention they received in their small group setting. Mayra kept us updated with daily photos, allowing us to see the variety of engaging activities they did—from sensory play and early learning to outdoor time on their private playground. She also sent thoughtful monthly newsletters, detailing what the kids were learning, sharing songs, and celebrating milestones. Both of my kids were early communicators, and Mayra played a wonderful role in supporting their development. She helped us smoothly transition from breast milk to cow’s milk and was always mindful of their allergies, making thoughtful accommodations to keep them safe. One of the many things we appreciated was the nutritious, home-cooked organic meals she provided, ensuring the kids were well-fed with healthy options. Her attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference, and we’re so grateful for the loving environment she created! Under Ms. Mayra’s care and guidance, both of my kids were more than ready for preschool. She helped them develop independence—teaching them to feed themselves, follow rules, and be respectful of others. Beyond social skills, they also learned so much academically. By the time they transitioned to preschool, they knew their alphabets, numbers, colors, days of the week, months, and even complex topics like the life cycles of butterflies and spiders, and the changing seasons. I could go on and on about all the things they learned! Thanks to Ms. Mayra’s thoughtful teaching, my older one started preschool with a clear advantage, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the strong foundation she provided. And we are excited for our younger one to start his preschool journey! Ms. Mayra always met us where we were and was incredibly supportive in every stage of our kids’ development. She was happy to accommodate our learning journey—whether we were navigating nap training, potty training, or any other transition. She guided us every step of the way, worked with our kids patiently, and ensured a smooth adjustment both at daycare and at home. Her thoughtful approach made these milestones so much easier, and we truly appreciated her partnership in our children’s growth! As a working parent, I highly recommend Lil Treasures Daycare. Knowing that my child was happy, safe, well-fed, and learning something new every day gave me such peace of mind. Both of my children absolutely loved their time there and formed the sweetest bonds with their friends, as well as with Ms. Mayra and Jocy. The care, attention, and guidance Ms. Mayra provided have been invaluable to our family. We will truly miss this daycare and the incredible partnership we’ve had—having such a wonderful childcare experience has truly spoiled us!

Mayra and her daughter Jocy are absolutely amazing - full stop. The dedication and love they show the kiddos is beyond what we ever could have expected as parents. The class is relatively small and a great place for little ones to get their sea legs before they start preschool or kindergarten. They were our child’s first daycare experience, and we couldn’t have been more happy with how it went throughout the entire time he was there.

We had our son in Lil Treasures daycare for the last 1.5 years from when he was 6 months to 2 and we'd wholeheartedly recommend it. Mayra and her daughter Jocy took such wonderful care of him and he really flourished in their loving environment. We valued the small group size and lots of hands-on attention he received. Mayra always sent us photos of him throughout the day, shared monthly newsletters of what they are learning, celebrated their birthdays and even had him make the cutest gifts for mothers & fathers day. Under their care, he learned how to short shapes, developed his social and emotional skills and even picked up some Spanish (agua, vamos, etc). There's a closed off playground in their building for the kids to play in and she rotates out the toys so there's always new things for them to explore. Even though he's a picky eater at home, my son devoured everything they fed him and did a great job with his transitions there (moving out of the crib, etc). When it was time for him to move on and join his sister at preschool - it was a bittersweet goodbye as he will miss them and his friends he made there!

We sent our son to Lil Treasures Daycare for about 14 months before moving out of state. This was between ages 8 mo to 2 yrs. We were very happy with Lil Treasures Daycare. Mayra sends wonderful update photos during the day. They showcase the large variety of activities the kids engage in. Mayra also sends a monthly update with songs, updates, and photos. The daycare has a playground on-site. The kids are able to get out daily and often interact with children from other daycares as well. Now that our son is learning how to speak we were pleasantly surprised by all the new words he knows. The daycare is bilingual, teaching both Spanish and English. At one point we were at a restaurant and he asked the waiter for “agua” all by himself! Our son has a peanut allergy which Mayra was happy to accommodate. He also has eczema. Mayra sent us her monthly menu so we could check for any issues and was attentive to any skin issues our son had. She was clearly thoughtful and attentive to his individual needs. Our son has experienced a lot of development while at lil treasures. He was often playing with friends at pickup and did not want to leave. I would highly recommend this daycare!!
