Linglestown Early Learning Center

Our son was in the first group of infants when this center opened and was enrolled there until we moved out of the area, about 5 years. The staff is amazing, my son developed such a close bond with several of his teachers throughout the years. He was always excited to go and see his friends. The center is clean and well kept, the owner is very communicative. We really miss LELC since we moved and realize how much better it is compared to other places now that we are in a different center for our younger child. Wish we were closer.

My nephew went to this school for a few years and has multiple bad experiences there. Hes been bullied by a kid whose mom works there so that kid never got in trouble, but my nephew would get in trouble for standing up for himself when the adults wouldnt help him. Hes had the daycare workers yell at him for talking to a parent and told to learn his place. His mom pulled him out after this in incident. Ive talked to other parents who say this place is very vindictive and they worry about the safety of their children but this is the only daycare that busses the kids to their school. This place needs a complete overhaul with staff and how they treat the children.

We love sending our daughter’s to the Early Learning Center. They have a great time there and enjoy there experiences. Staff are great and attentive with updating us on their progress and how they spent there day. We love the crafts that our girls are making there to. It’s comforting to know they are in good hands.

In my expirence, the school runs a tight ship with no wiggle room for the children. Even though they say they are accomidating, I beg to differ. The entire first month my son was there, when I went to pick him up.. he was crying in a corner alone.. Staff did not take any time to pick him up or hold or try to comfort him. My child is unable to talk. The team that works with my child reported seeing other children drag him around by the arms, screaming in his face, and attempting to forcefully feed him. Definetly not a place for a child with special needs. He was seen as an inconvience to the teachers. The only thing they care about is your money and their ratios. The center was given visual schedules by a therapist, which of course, they took no time to use. They definetly have their "favorite" kids and will get rid of any child who they actually have to teach and work with.

LELC has been a great experience for our daughter. She's happy to go to 'school' everyday and enjoys her teachers, activities and friends.
