Little Bird Childcare | West Salem

It is not ideal to put your child in someone else’s care while you go to work. I will however always be grateful to the wonderful women of this daycare, especially Asia, for how well they cared for my little girl. I’ve since moved to Texas and become a stay at home mom and I still think of these amazing ladies!

We started this day care 3 weeks ago because our in-home daycare closed due to COVID-19. Little Bird was one of the few childcare facilities open to front line responders, which both my wife and I are. We are grateful that they stayed open for people like us and appreciate it beyond words. From the beginning the daycare was professional and accommodating. The facility is clean, secure, and engaging for our very busy toddler. This is a smaller childcare center where your child will get the personal attention they need. They use a wonderful app that gives you updates on meals, naps, and potty which includes photos and videos of their day. It is great as it makes you feel more connected to them throughout your hectic day. The teachers have all been wonderful. Jenny watches our toddler every day and she has been terrific with him. They are constructive, thoughtful in their words, and provide calm teaching moments which does not go unnoticed with us parents. We are so impressed with Little Birds that we will not be returning to our in-home daycare. Overall, they are doing everything right here.

Little Bird Childcare has taken care of our little girl since she was a baby (now age 4). All these pic were ones sent to us through their app, while we were working, which made our days!! we have had an excellent experience with both the infant -toddler care as well as the preschool. They always keep things clean and the staff are so caring and kind. They provide the structure that allows the kids to thrive and days are filled with a fun learning activities. We would recommend them to anyone looking for childcare.

Little Bird West Salem is truly amazing! We LOVE the staff. Our 8 month old daughter, who had issues with strangers, started in September. From the beginning, she went to any of the teachers with no fear at all. Some days she even cries when we go to pick her up because she’s not ready to leave. It’s been so fun watching her personality develop as a result of this care. I know each and every employee truly loves our little girl and the other children that attend. One of my favorite things they do is utilize an app that keeps me informed in real time of what my daughter does all day. When she eats, sleeps, diaper changes, photos, etc. It gives me peace of mind knowing about her daily activities. I would (and already have) refer Little Bird to our friends— Best daycare in Salem!

By far the best daycare in Salem!! We have a kid in the toddler class and the preschool class. The owner is very kind, caring, professional and easy to work with. The staff are very responsive and caring. I’ve been impressed with the care they have taken to keep everything clean and safe during covid while also delivering fun and enriching activities to the kids. They use an app that posts updates on “ins and outs”, pictures/videos of the kids throughout the day, incident reports, etc. There is a messenger and payment feature to the app which makes communication and managing all aspects of childcare easy from a parent perspective.
