Little Green Giants of Hampden, Eco Conscious Child Care

I had an excellent experience at Little Green Giants. The directors and teachers are warm and attentive, and worked with us as we navigated morning separation anxiety with our kid. He loved the play based learning model and walks outside, and we really saw his language skills take off during his time here. We're very grateful he had an opportunity to enroll in this program.

We started at LGG in July. Our daughter is having a great experience there. She comes home happy (and just tired enough!) everyday. We can also see the skills she is building at school - counting while pointing, identifying colors and letters, showing concern and empathy for others. She sings songs she learns at school and tells us about her teachers and friends. I love getting updates during the day through their app. It’s a great place for our girl to be when she can’t be with us.

My son has been at LGG for almost 1 year. He loves his teachers and his classmates - and it is so clear to me that they love him too. The facility is beautiful and clean with Montessori style toys. We love getting updates throughout the day via their app. When my son first started, we went through a period of bottle refusal - I was so impressed with the way the teachers worked with my husband and I to make sure he got his calories and transitioning him to taking bottles at daycare. They were also 100% in on supporting our cloth diapering efforts. LGG has a pretty strict sick policy which has pros and cons - my son hasn't been sick as much as other kids I know who go to daycare at larger facilities with more relaxed policies, but it also means he sometimes has to stay home for minor sympotoms like a runny nose.

My wife and I took a tour of their facilities w/ our toddler and we were very pleased w/ everything we saw. The owner (Ms. Sunny) and staff were very warm and welcoming; we visited a couple of their classroom’s and the children seemed to be very engaged, the space was well kept and organized. Overall, we had a great visit and look forward to partnering w/ them in the future for our son’s care and education.

Our child LOVES this daycare. The teachers are all very attentive and supportive. They are always involving the parents and make sure that each child gets individualized attention and teaching. I could not recommend LLG more.
