Little Hands N Feet

As a visiting vendor, I had the opportunity to tour Little Hands and Feet Day Child Care Center and was thoroughly impressed with the facility. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the children. The classrooms and common areas were exceptionally organized, with age-appropriate materials thoughtfully arranged to encourage learning and play. Every corner of the center reflected a strong commitment to child development, safety, and care. It's evident that the team at Little Hands and Feet prioritizes creating a nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated to the well-being of the children in their care. Overall, my experience was extremely positive, and I would confidently recommend Little Hands and Feet to any parent or guardian seeking a high-quality child care center.

My daughter loves Little Hands and Feet. The teachers actively engage with the children and communicate regularly about how my child is doing. Very pleased with my choice! It looks tiny on the outside, but they have maximised every inch of space into a child’s paradise. The partnership they have with the Poe Center means that vegetables are always being grown on the playground and the grounds look immaculate!

I highly recommend Little Hands and Feet for all your childcare needs. The environment is both loving and safe, fostering a real sense of community. The staff are warm and kind, ensuring that every child feels valued and cared for. Little Hands and Feet is truly a wonderful place for children to grow and thrive.

My grand-daughter recently graduated the Pre-K program at Little Hands and Feet and we are so thankful that she was selected into the program. The best experiences were the genuine receptive listening they displayed at the orientation about my grand-daughter and I am certain that each child’s likes and dislikes were honored. They never made her eat things she did not like because she is very choicy about what she eats and likes vegetables the most, so that’s why when we learned of the types of snacks and foods that they offer it was a definite YES because the children are shown about gardening and the choices of snacks and foods were NEVER overly too sweet or too salty. They really do a great job in planning the meal choices and snacks for the children. Secondly, my grand-daughter had never taken naps.. it has always been energy all day long… yet they allowed her to use nap time as simply a rest time and she was able to rest without required to go to sleep or nap. Then on her own one evening when I picked her up, she told me “Meemaw, I took a nap today”….on her own because she felt safe there. That had never happened and shows a level of growth and trusting relationship that the director and the teachers foster. I love that the children’s choices are honored. The director and the teachers are exceptional and truly want each day to be good for each child to experience having a good day. There is a board of daily structured activity and learning goals for the week. They also learn great social skills in communicating with other children. I have only good things to express here and I am hoping that if you are reading this that you are now certain that Little Hands and Feet is the best place for your child to begin outward entry into life long journey of education.

The director is incapable of communicating appropriately and respectfully with parent and is uncaring and unconcerned with what is best for the child and family. The teachers are amazing and deserve a tremendous about of credit for how they are with the children, especially given that the daycare is in an old bank building and the classroom is the size of a shoe box. Kids only go outside once a day on a "playground," which is severely lacking in equipment, structures and toys. They do not allow the kids/the daycare to celebrate any holidays and kids will never participate in any kind of spirit week. The entire gardening project is incredible! Beware the director.
