Little Sprouts Early Learning and Child Care

The staff are amazing and we absolutely love it here. My older kids were sad to go onto kindergarten and leave their teachers behind. Always recommending here when people ask!

This is not a safe daycare. My son attended Little Sprouts from 2021-2022 when he was 2 years old. I was picking him up on a typical weekday when a teacher told me that my son had choked earlier in the day and needed to have the Heimlich maneuver performed on him. Nobody called me and nobody called 9-1-1 - both of which are procedures they outline in their own safety plan. Rather, a teacher just casually mentioned it to me during pick-up. I took him straight to a doctor appointment, and thankfully he was okay and did not have any lasting damage. The next day, I asked to speak to the owner, (who was there the previous day during the incident) and she refused to speak to me and sent another teacher to speak to me instead. He told me it was a terrifying incident, and that my son couldn’t breathe for several seconds, and he was just so happy my son was okay. The same day, I wrote a very strongly worded email to the owner that outlined her safety policy and requested an explanation for why they didn’t follow their own safety policy (calling 9-1-1 and then the parents) when my son choked in their care. She ignored my email. Needless to say, we promptly found a new provider and have never looked back. Parents: Please, do not entrust your children in the care of this facility. It is not safe.

We love Little Sprouts! The staff is all super dedicated and caring and they take such good care of my kid. Their director does a great job of communicating with parents and making sure the facility is staying up to date with all safety recommendations for COVID and otherwise.
