My oldest daughter started going to Little Sprouts in the middle of the year last year, and we loved it, so we returned this year and brought her younger sister. Both of my girls have benefited HUGELY from attending Little Sprouts Preschool. They have learned so much and are experiencing so many different things, from the monthly field trips to the interactive play time(they LOVE the messy table) , and the great curriculum I will always be grateful I found Little Sprouts and had my girls attend. My oldest daughter will be moving onto kindergarten with confidence and my youngest will go back to Little Sprouts next year. I can not say enough good things about what a great learning environment Little Sprouts is!!!

My son currently attends Little Spouts preschool and we love it. We are a military family and have moved a lot. We have experienced many different states and many different school and preschools and by far this is one of my favorites. I love Ms. Joe and Grammy Pat. The years of experience are such a value to me. My son can shy and quiet, she is so patient with him. I feel like you receive such a well rounded education at this school, not just letters and numbers, but the environment and being kind to others. I would recommend this preschool to others.

We had the pleasure of taking our daughter to Little Sprouts 2012-2013. What made us choose Little Sprouts was the organization of the daily plan, the monthly schedule which includes a field trip, focus letters, an imagination station and goals for every month. When our daughter started there was so much more! Academically she is more than ready to start Kindergarden and be successful. She was able to express creativity through the different stations like the messy table and art. She loves learning and is excited about her accomplishments. Ms. Jo has a way of making the children feel so important through the way she communicates and respects the children and parents. She helps them set goals and accomplish them so they feel a since of pride and accomplishment. She also has a way of showing them how to treat eachother. I think it is a combination of her lesson plans, her own actions and interactions with the children. I will be forever grateful for the year we spent in Washington, especially for the experience our daughter had at Little Sprouts. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to send your child to Little Sprouts for preschool, you will be more than satisfied!!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the teachers or the education that my son has received at Little Sprouts over the past two years. Ms. Jo, Ms. Janine and Grandma Pat are tireless in their efforts of teaching our youth. These three have dedicated their lives to instilling a love of learning in our young ones and making sure that they not only are academically prepared for their next learning endeavors, but socially prepared. My son has learned so much about acceptance and diversity in his time at Little Sprouts and I cannot thank the teachers here enough, as I think these values are not as emphasized as they once were and still should be. The kids learn about all holidays (not just majorly accepted or religious ones), many cultures (including field trips related to culture, food tastings of various ethnic foods, and about the traditions of several geographic areas, tribes and groups) and are taught acceptance of diversity. The kids have a field trip every month which have included things like learning how to ride a city bus and shop for holiday gifts at the dollar store, ordering (and behaving) at a restaurant, visiting the Suquamish Tribal Museum, watching the salmon run through a nearby creek (after learning all about the life cycle and migration patterns of salmon), visited the library, nursing home and zoo (and so many more I can't remember). All of the field trips have been highly entertaining for the kids while providing real life learning situations that encourage them to be confident problem solvers, like they are taught by the teachers at Little Sprouts. The kids are also taught patience and practice through their "train station" goal-getting incentive program. This program gives each kid an individual goal, specific to their areas of needed improvement, and each time the child goes a whole class meeting this goal (such as staying in your seat during the beginning of class or writing your name) they get to move their train to the next station until they get to the final station (6 times) and are rewarded with a trip to the prize box. The teachers really take the time to teach the fundamentals, step by step. Academically, they learn more than I have ever thought possible at this age. They learn how to write their names, continents (my 4 year old can tell me all of them!), planets (can tell me those, too), music and rhythm, about caring for our earth (planting seeds, recycling, composting, chickens), animals and sea life, and so, so many more things. As I said before, I cannot express how thankful I am for the teacher at Little Sprouts for everything they have taught my son, and I can't wait to send his younger siblings to Little Sprouts!

Our daughter has really enjoyed and learned SO MUCH from this preschool. She's learned how to listen and communicate with others and has built a great platform for social growth. She's also learned a lot of core concepts like writing and letter sounds, counting and other skills that will lead her to success in school. She also thoroughly loves her teachers!
