Little Steps STEAM Preschool

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this daycare since our daughter started attending at 1.5 years old. Like many parents, we were a bit nervous at first—especially when she cried a lot on her first day. But within just a few days, she became more comfortable and now she wakes up excited to go to school every morning! We’ve noticed tremendous growth in her since she started. She’s become much more social and no longer has the “stranger danger” hesitation she used to have. Her speech has improved significantly, and we’re amazed at how quickly she’s learning—she knows her numbers up to 13, her ABCs, can identify colors and animals, and even draw circles! It’s been incredible watching her grow almost week by week. The teachers are very caring, respectful, and always quick to answer any questions we have. On days when we can’t pack her lunch in time, the daycare offers great lunch options, which has been a huge help. Overall, we’re extremely happy with the care and learning environment provided. Highly recommend!

Nithya brings a lot of passion to grow the school. She has been investing all her energy in setting up a proper curriculum for the kids from the earliest levels to the Kindergarten levels. Her activities for the young ones are on developing fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, opening up and communication as well as slowly developing the pen and pencil hold for the kids. Our child is well challenged at the center. Ever since she started, she has opened up well, started communicating with full sentences, expressing herself and all of this led to reduction in tantrums. Little Steps and their teachers ensure that they teach the kids a lot and place emphasis on learning in a fun setting. We get a weekly report for our child. We also get updates through BrightWheel. While all the parameters of evaluation may seem scary and intimidating at the start for some parents, they are meant to identify trends and areas of support for the child over time. The teachers and Nithya have reassured us that it is not meant to be a strict evaluation of child. They also have home cooked lunches and our child goes to school and comes back happy. Our elder kid used to attend Little Steps as well when they were a home based Day Care. I can see that with a formal center now operational for a few years, they are able to expand on their vision of instilling the joy of learning for kids. Overall, we are thankful to Nithya for nurturing our child and providing a thriving environment to learn. I strongly encourage Little Steps to other parents.

My son has been attending Little Steps Preschool for half year and it’s a wonderful experience! The staff is incredibly warm and caring, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do.
