Little Sunshine's Playhouse of Gilbert at Val Vista Dr.

We are first time parents and daycare is a whole new experience. We scheduled a tour and Kim was fantastic and showed us around. We also got to see the teachers that would be taking care of our 6 week old. The teachers that work with our daughter have been working at the same place for years which speaks volumes about a place. Jackie is amazing with our daughter and even taught us an amazing way to put our daughter down for her daily naps. They follow a routine which makes it so easy for our daughter to stay on a schedule. Jackie also takes the best pictures and is always updating us throughout the day. We actually started as part time but we went full time because our daughter loves the daycare and is always smiling when she is there. It really does give you peace of mind when going back to work knowing your daughter is in great hands!

We are so thankful for all of the staff at Little Sunshine’s! Our son is thriving and genuinely looks forward to his time there. He has learned so much in just a few months of enrollment and his social skills have greatly advanced. He is more confident in himself and so excited to show us what he learns everyday. My husband and I were so nervous to send him to daycare/school and the staff here made us all feel safe, welcomed and we can tell they truly care. We are thrilled we are apart of such a great little community.

The teachers, directors, and chef here are amazing! As a first time mom, I feel confident leaving my child in their hands. Huge shoutout to Ms. Hannah, Ms. Katie, Sam, and Emma. They are my second village and have been so supportive throughout this experience!

Our 2 year old daughter has been going to Little Sunshine’s this past month and we have loved our experience so far! The teachers are so kind and were extra helpful during the transition to a new school. We love seeing the friendships our daughter is starting to build and watching her learn so much in a way that’s meaningful for her!

My son has attended Little Sunshine Playhouse and Preschool in Gilbert for a full year, and I must say…this school has far exceeded my expectations. The thing that stands out to me the most is the faculty and staff. Emily is a part of the leadership team and always greets us with a genuine smile at drop off. She does it all, from working the front desk to being an extra pair of hands in the classroom. She is amazing. The assistant director Kim is INCREDIBLE. She is so easy to talk to, and I know that she truly cares about my son. She is constantly going above and beyond for our family. My son’s teacher Heidi has become one of my most favorite people. He has learned so much from her and what is more, I know that he is loved. There are so many other beautiful people that have supported my son during his first year including Ms. Ana, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Tiffany. He is currently transitioning into the preschool classroom with Ms. Mon C and Ms. Savannah, who have been so patient and kind while my son is potty training and learning the ropes of a new classroom. The other thing that stands out about this school is the Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum. My background is in education. I have worked as a credentialed teacher for over a decade in both kinder and first grade classrooms. Therefore, I understand developmentally what my son should be able to do at this stage. I am BEYOND impressed by what that my son has learned this past year and is able to do at only three years old!!! Not only he is learning a ton, but he LOVES LOVES school. No joke, he screeches with joy every day when we pull into the parking lot in the morning. As a parent, this is music to my ears and thrills me beyond words. This school is setting a solid foundation of education, and what is more, a true love of learning for my son. I am pregnant with my second child, and he will absolutely be attending Little Sunshine Playhouse and Preschool in Gilbert! This school is special.
