Little Trailblazers Early Learning Center West Queen Anne

My kids both attended Little Trailblazers daycare, and I can't recommend it enough. Right from day one, they showed total care for my little ones and went out of their way to ensure a smooth transition into daycare life. While you might not receive a detailed email report every day, trust me, by the end of the day, they can fill you in on every aspect of your child's daily routine. They celebrate milestones like successful potty training just as enthusiastically as you would at home:))) One thing I particularly appreciate is the mixed age groups. The little ones learn a lot from the older kids, and the older ones pick up empathy skills. I also have to mention how responsive they are to our requests. For instance, when our son was one of the older kids in the group, we asked if they could give him some writing activities during nap time. Within a few months, he was not only writing letters but his own name! In summary, we love it and highly recommend it.

Our daughter attended Little Trailblazers for 5 years. The teachers are the loveliest and most talented child care givers we have ever met. She was continually engaged with all of the age-appropriate activities and grew so much during her time there. It truly felt like she was being cared for by family. We would highly recommend Little Trailblazers.

Updated review December 2024: Our third child is now at Little Trailblazers West Queen Anne and we can't express how much the center has meant to our family. The owner, Nikki, is an absolute treasure. The staff are kind, caring and affirming. This is a very special place. They've supported our family through countless milestones and we couldn't be more grateful for this community. Updated review - November 2021: Our second child now attends Little Trailblazers in West Queen Anne and we continue to be so happy with their ongoing care and sense of community. Director Nikki is so responsive, warm and capable. Their ability to pivot during the pandemic has been nothing short of remarkable. We're so grateful for Little Trailblazers staff and to be part of this very special community! Original review - 2018: Our child has been attending Little Explorers (now Little Trailblazers) since July 2018. We have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and their care of our daughter. Her vocabulary and motor skills have developed noticeably in the past couple of months, through the variety of creative play and learning activities they provide for her. Little Explorers is so much more than a daycare. It is a community of staff who genuinely care for the children and their families. We had a recent family bereavement and Marclen and the whole team went above and beyond to support us at a very stressful and disruptive time. Their enthusiasm and dedication show both in the daily activities for the children (sports week, "camping" day and pyjama days) and also the family events they organize on their own time (carnival day and a luau party). We've also been impressed by the responsiveness and communication with staff regarding all aspects of daycare. We're so grateful we found Little Explorers for our child, and have no hesitation in recommending the team and their center to other families.

My child has been going to Little Explorers for almost a year now and we love it. The teachers are so caring and wonderful with the kids. The staff goes out of their way to create a community around the daycare, hosting carnivals and family functions after hours. This is way more than a daycare, they really care about the kids and families. I would recommend Little Explorers to anyone!

My daughter has been coming to this daycare for the past year, and she looks forward to it every time. We struggle to take her home sometimes because she just wants to stay and hang out there. And I can see why! The people who run the place are absolutely wonderful. They care so much for the kids and the families. They always arrange events for families to get together, and this is really important especially in Seattle where so many families are new to the area. It really is more than just a daycare as someone had mentioned. They go above and beyond making us all (kids and parents!) feel welcome. They're also so helpful with adjusting to changes in routines (we added brushing her teeth before nap, giving up the pacifier cold turkey). A huge plus for us was the flexible schedule. This is super hard to find, as most of the home day cares we visited required either year-long contracts or only full time schedules.
