LWO— led by Alex and Vince— is exceptional. I feel very fortunate that our daughter gets to spend her days at this first-class daycare where the children’s needs and development are given the attention required and well beyond. The level of care and thoughtfulness to the program, the environment and engagement is noteworthy. The space is absolutely gorgeous, hyper kid friendly and clean. We have a second daughter on the way and excited for her to experience LWO! We love this program and the people behind it. Our daughter is our world, and we have unwavering trust and faith in Alex & Vince.

As a former preschool teacher at a Reggio Emilia inspired school and a first-time mom with no village around me, choosing a daycare for my child felt like an impossible task. My trained (and very critical) eye caught every little detail while visiting other daycares, and I was deeply anxious that my one-year-old, whom I am head over heels in love with, might end up in a place that didn’t truly see him, that wouldn’t honor who he is, or help him thrive in the ways I knew he could. Just when I was running out of options, I called Alexandra, scheduled a tour.. and found a true gem hiding in plain sight. Alex and Vince are not only highly competent and professional; they are also warm, compassionate, loving, and endlessly patient. Every transition is made in collaboration with families, and building a shared vision and a strong sense of community is clearly a top priority for them. They genuinely value the whole child, respecting their individuality, believing in their potential, and wholeheartedly wanting the best for them. On top of all that, they make you feel like you’re leaving your child with trusted family members. There's no need to hold your breath when you say goodbye, because you know your child will be safe, happy, cared for, and loved. The environment itself is incredible. Alex and Vince deeply understand that the environment is the “third teacher,” and they place a strong emphasis on the outdoors. Rain or shine, wind or sun, they prioritize time in nature, making full use of their thoughtfully designed yard and garden, a beautiful and enriching space for exploration and growth. I could go on for hours about why this is the best place not only for my child, but for any child. But I’ll end by saying this: if anything I’ve shared resonates with you, if you're a parent seeking a place that truly aligns with your values, I hope you’re lucky enough to find a spot at Little Wild Ones. Every child deserves the kind of care, respect, and joy that thrives there.

My two daughters enjoyed their day at Little Wild Ones. My older daughter said her favorite things were the fun lunch in the garden backyard and the outdoor sink for washing up. My younger daughter enjoyed all the opportunities for active play, including the Jumparoo, jungle gym, and visiting the local playground. I’m glad that my girls were able to spend time at this preschool where they were able to explore nature and play. Everything about the school seems to have been thoughtfully planned out, from the outdoor space to the delicious food to the well curated books and toys. And a bonus quote from my daughter: “We don’t even have to go the playground. There’s so much to play with and explore here.”

We recently discovered this local gem that makes me want to go back to preschool again. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area, it's truly special to find a place where kids can be kids again without any pressure. Everything about it is designed with so much intentionality to help children find and express their natural creativity and curiosity. The place is BEAUTIFUL, spacious, and serene. You just feel a sense of peacefulness and joy when you walk in being surrounded by nature and sunlight. I love how kids can move seamlessly between indoor or outdoor play areas and enjoy lunch by the garden. The preschool director and lead teacher, Alex, is incredibly kind and patient. She knows exactly how to nurture the children with thoughtful activities and when to step back and observe as they experiment and try to figure things out for themselves. We recently did a drop-in day with my daughter and we LOVED LOVED LOVED the experience.
