Los Pequeñitos Daycare

Our baby started daycare at Los Pequeñitos three months ago and our experience so far has been very positive. Betty and her team are attentive to our son and his needs while he goes through major growth changes. They have been great with communication about what’s going on with our son and activities or food they have been giving him. We appreciate the Los Pequeñitos team for taking such great care of our son every single day.

If you are seeking a daycare, you should choose Los Pequenitos Daycare! Hands down! Our 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son have both been going to Mrs. Betty and her helping hands at Los Pequeñitos since they were 1 years old. Choosing a daycare can be a daunting task and we trust her with our children. She genuinely cares for all of the children under her care and her experience truly shows. Your child will be protected, cared for and receive the support he/she needs. All while being immersed in the Spanish language, with tons of fun, crafts, activities and a fantastic pre-school curriculum. Our kids can't wait to get to Mrs. Betty's house in the morning. No more having to think about what food to prepare and send with your child. Mrs. Betty is also passionate about cooking and prepares yummy home cooked meals with the best ingredients. Your child will be fed a delicious and nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Our kids love her cooking!!!! Los Pequeñitos has a family feel. Many of the parents know each other and Mrs. Betty hosts a couple of events throughout the year. It is amazing that our kiddos are bilingual, fully fluent in Spanish and English. They know their ABC's, shapes, can count to 20, spell their name, and so much more. There is so much value that you and your child will receive at Los Pequeñitos versus any other daycare center. If there is space available, you must take it. You won't regret it! Thank you for everything Mrs. Betty!!!!

We absolutely love Los Pequenitos! Our daycare shutdown suddenly and we were lovingly referred to Betty and couldn't be more happy or thankful. Our little one is thriving there -- she never wants to leave! She does dinosaur yoga, takes incredible (2+ hour!) naps, and in a few short months she is already singing in Spanish all the way home from pickup. The staff are incredible -- they clearly love her like their own. We were having some terrible two tantrums at home and called Betty to ask for advice. The next day at drop off she mentioned she had spent the evening (!!) retaking a course on toddler tantrums and gave us a bunch of great advice. We also are going through the dreaded pacifier removal stage and Betty helped us navigate it flawlessly -- in less than two weeks we have already gotten her (happily! REALLY!!) down to naps only with the pacifier. To say we are lucky is an understatement. It is a true pleasure knowing our kid is well cared for, loved, learning, growing and having the time of her life here. You honestly can't do better.

My son and daughter have been attending Los Pequenitos since June 2021. We were at another daycare close by and our former provider had decided to retire (we were crushed!). With 30 days to find new coverage, I was panicked but had a few recommendations for Los Pequenitos and decided to check it out. I called Betty and she had us set up with an interview the very next day. Walking in, all my fears about how my toddler and infant would handle the transition to a new daycare were put aside. The learning, play and outdoor areas are amazing and it was clear that Betty takes great pride in the wonderful environment she created for the children. Since my kids have been there, my 3 year old's verbal development has flourished. He was a late talker and I'd had some concerns about how little he was talking, but within a week of being at Betty's he was noticeably more talkative. It has continued to get better and he is now consistently coming home with more and more words, being able to express himself and identify the world around him. He is also enrolled in Betty's preschool program and almost every day comes home with crafts and activities he's done throughout the day and all in Spanish. They've also been instrumental in helping us potty train. We started the process during a 4-day weekend and he's had only a few accidents in the month that we've been sending him in underwear, despite the fact that he's been resistant to the entire process for a long time. Their support has been integral to making the transition successful! My daughter is 16 months and loves Betty and all of her helpers. She giggles and opens her arms to them every morning, which as a mamas girl she doesn't normally do. As soon as I hand her off I hear her giggling and laughing! What I feel is most important to impart, however, is the deep sense of trust I have after my daughter had a minor medical emergency about a month ago. She had been fine when I dropped her off in the morning, and developed a high fever during her afternoon nap. When they went to check on her as they routinely do, she was burning up. She then had a febrile seizure. I'm not sure I would have been able to be calm in that situation but Betty and her staff knew just what to do. They cooled her down, but not too quickly so as to trigger another seizure, and made sure she stayed hydrated while they called me and let me know what happened. It was that moment that really sealed the deal for me. Entrusting the care of your children to someone else outside your home can be daunting. But I have not one doubt that my children are under the best supervision and truly loved and cared for while I am at work. I see it when Betty opens the door in the morning and greets them, and by the smiles on their faces when we talk about what they did during the day. I highly recommend Los Pequenitos, Betty and her staff and am deeply appreciative of what they do. They're the best!

Mrs. Betty and her staff are the best educators. My child has blossomed in this daycare. They got him ready for charters school. I am so grateful for all the hard work they put into my child education.
