I called 3/18 to discuss the daycare and how they function. The woman on the phone sounded really nice and was willing to answer all my questions however, the phone was answered like I was calling a random person. Typically you would expect the greeting “Hello, Love and Care day care facility” or something along those lines. The woman I spoke with told me to come tour the facility at 4PM next day. Today I was in the area, it was almost 3PM. I took a drive by and decided to call to see if I could come sooner to tour. I called, same woman I spoke with yesterday answered the phone again with no greeting, as if I just called a stranger. I asked if I could come sooner to tour, told her I called in yesterday….while I was on the phone with her another woman came outside, likely alarmed that a car she didn’t know was in the parking lot but didn’t seem friendly by any means. So her and the other woman proceed to talk about me as if I didn’t hear what they were saying while I was still on the phone. I walk up to the front door, one of the women crack it barely, no greeting, I asked if I could tour the daycare…she responds with “she told you 4 o’clock right?!……hmmmm”. I’m so glad I didn’t leave my child here. I’m already stressed since it’s my first time considering daycare. If they were 100% ok with being disrespectful to me…then why wouldn’t they be disrespectful to my child? Super rude.
