Our child currently attend Luv A Kid, and it has been the BEST decision we have ever made. They are loving, caring and also provides routine and structure to our child. Since attending, her speech, socialization, and behavior has improved beyond what we could have ever imagined. She truly loves going to school, and we are so thankful for Ms. Thomas and Ms. Krystie! They are some of the most kind and loving people we have ever met. We wish this school went all the way to 12th grade!

My son has been here for about nine months and we absolutely love it. It is owned and ran by a mother and daughter and they’re both amazing, loving people. I’ve never had an issue with my son being fed, having adequate water, getting potty breaks, naps, etc. When we have had experiences with hitting his teather has informed us, but they also don’t make a big deal about typical toddler behavior that isn’t malicious. I believe they handled it in a professional manner. They are understanding with toddler behavior all around. My son had a rough year, and through it all they never made me feel like an inadequate parent or like he had serious issues. I did experience this treatment at his prior preschool. The facility is clean and secure. It isn’t super fancy or big, but it’s warm and inviting, and safe for the children. They also have farm animals and a garden. I don’t know the experiences that lead the other people to leave such negative reviews, but I can’t say enough positive things about this daycare.

Best School for Pre K
Denise and Christie are thee best teachers for kids, both of my children attended Luv a kid and they both are so far ahead of their peers, the love both my children have for the staff is proof of how amazing they are. I can never repay what these women have done for my children, 11/10 amazing place!!

Best decision I made was sending my son to this school!
After having horrific traumatic experiences at two daycares in the area I was scared to keep looking and this place made me feel right at home, they treated my son like family and were loving and kind. I wouldn't trust anywhere else!
They helped my two-year-old learn manners and sharing, they kept him in a great routine and taught him to be independent and respectful.
When he started he was a picky eater and now he is willing to try new things and absolutely loves lunch time at luvakid, where Mrs. Thomas takes the time to prepare a well-balanced meal for all the kids. They helped me through when we were worried if my son would need a gluten-free diet and prepared him gluten free food during this time. They don't shame or scold your children instead they encourage them to do betted and teach proper behavior. They help when kids need a little more attention when going through phases like mishaving and give great advice about important milestones.
My son also used to have trouble at drop off because of his past experience and now all he talks about is going to school! He's thrilled to go and waves goodbye where he then goes into the kitchen area to wash his hands and sits to eat a healthy breakfast. I couldn't ask for anything better!
Overall it's a wonderful experience and I love all the teachers! They have great hours for working parents and give a schedule for the year ahead so you can plan in advance what to expect.

Love Luv-A-Kid! This school has been a part of our family for 10 years, since they opened! All 4 of my children went here they are amazing all of the teachers are college educated, very rare in childcare, and they treat the children like their own! I love Mrs. Thomas the director she is amazing. I am so annoyed with the one negative review on here, which is just that ONE negative review, I guess can't please everyone. I know exactly who wrote this negative review and they should really be ashamed of themselves, DCD even came out to Luv-A-Kid and found ALL of their allegations to be false! They keep diaper charts people and change and check the kids every 30 minutes my babies went through a ton of diapers there. Also saying the kids aren't supervised that is an outright lie, I've witnessed teachers asking for someone to come watch their class just to walk 3 feet away to grab something, so again another lie! Also they are actually overstaffed they always have plenty of teachers and teacher aids. Also as a fellow teacher I know for a fact incident reports are not required unless the child has to seek medical care, pretty sure a skinned knee doesn't require medical attention. I also know that Luv-A-Kid keeps incident logs with documentation of every fall, bump and bruise so again another lie! Also the late openings, never happened Mrs. Thomas is there at least an hour prior to opening to take care of all their amazing farm animals, goats, pig, rabbits chickens, so again another lie!! And this is in fact is the only full day Montessori school in Moore County with Montessori educated staff!! I know the person who wrote the negative review and the mother was very nasty and rude and got in the face of a pregnant staff member yelling at her in front of the other children, because the teacher was concerned about the way the child was being treated and that the cloth diapers being sent in everyday were dirty and most days the child was put in disposable diapers not cloth ones! The mother is totally crazy, I even had a run in with her in the lobby! She was asked to leave for accosting a pregnant teacher.... at the school.... in front of the children, it is that simple I mean who does that??? Luv-A-Kid is way too classy to address this smut and sling mud, but they are like family to me and I just saw this negative review and I am disgusted, so I had to defend them! This school is amazing just ask around, their reputation can't be beat! Love love love them!!
