McKinley Daycare Akron Ohio

The director Mrs Sandra is amazing! If any issues arise she promptly addresses them. The environment is inclusive and the teachers are overall pleasant. My child who has developmental delays has even begun to interact socially !! Thank you McKinley for embracing my family and providing a safe environment for my child to learn.

After searching for a childcare center for my grandson the 5th center I visited McKinley Childcare on E Waterloo and as soon as I walked in the atmosphere was so cozy and caring. I knew it was the one for him when I meet with Ms. Sandra and some of her staff and I can say I'm satisfied with my choice. My grandson loves it at McKinley. Thank you staff for all that you do for the children. Mrs. D.

My oldest daughter went to McKinley and is now in Kindergarten. She was enrolled for 9 months and learned so much before school. Now my youngest daughter has been there for about 6 months and she has become more social and is so excited to go. The director of the center has been so helpful for both of my children and I would highly recommend sending your little ones there. The director is very kind, attentive to your needs as the parent and communication has been so thorough with her. The teachers are friendly at drop off and pick up.

Tamika seen my son for 5 minutes and said she couldn't watch my son. She got smart with me and told me that my son who turned 3 07/21/2020 was not able to be accommodated. Tamika was very judgemental and biased it was children louder then my child at the daycare. She said based off of 5 minutes with my son she can't watch him. Tamika told me it was a spot available for my son and if she would have never met him when I was filling out my documents to enroll him she would have never said that. She needs to be fired or reevaluated she is unqualified for her position. She refused to read his medical statement that says he was slightly delayed. She proceeded to ask me why I transferred daycares insinuating that it was due to his behavior and I never had a complaint with anyone about his behavior. I simply relocate and got a better job that's why he's been to other daycares. My child deserves a real chance and if she would have let him come with me instead of insisting on watching him I wouldn't have been inconvenienced. My son's title 20 was transferred to the daycare and I come in to fill the paperwork out and the moment she was to let me get my child she refused. She should have let my son come to me I was directed to watch my child while I filled out paperwork and she decided to watch him and judge my child turning me away. If I can give negative zero stars I honestly would. Tamika has a terrible attitude and lied and said she would give my number to corporate.
