Melanie's Learn and Play

Personally, from experience, I had a horrible experience. I had protective order and Melanie’s learn and play did not honor tbr protective order, which was very unsafe and disrespectful for my toddler and myself. Amber, one of the daycare workers, is very rude, condescending, and wants to have the last word every time even when she’s wrong. My child has sat and pee and poop for hours there. On multiple occasions, I have picked her up and she has done soiled a diaper, and it was never changed Since beginning to the end of her time being there they always have stomach bug head, lice, hand, foot and mouth or something pet being passed around, Far more frequently than I’ve ever seen a daycare. They will decide with their staff to save their butts when they’re wrong. They will not keep your child safe nor you safe.

I drive from Bossier to Benton and work in Shreveport, but knowing my child is safe, loved, well taken care of, and happy is PRICELESS! I had him at two other centers and was not satisfied at all. The staff are great and administrators are even better! They all truly love each child they care for and the communication during the day between myself and the staff is five star. Mrs. Melanie is FABULOUS. I absolutely love her and so does my son ❤️

This is the absolute best daycare in the Bossier area. The staff (and owners) care for these kids like their own and make every day fun. I wouldn’t have sent my son anywhere else!

We LOVE Melanie’s Learn And Play! I couldn’t recommended a better place to send your precious ones. The staff is so attentive and loving! We love our infant teachers! Melanie and Randy who run the daycare are an absolute God-send. The software they use to communicate with parents is 5-star, I love we can pay on the app as well. Any time there is any question as to anything that happens, they can pull audio and video and review the incident. We haven’t had any issues, but I love that the option is there if ever needed. This is my second little one, and my fifth experience with a daycare and there is truly no better place !

We love this daycare! I was so worried about bringing my son (18 months at the time) to daycare. But, they have made this experience so wonderful! The staff is so supportive and very responsive with any questions you may have! They genuinely have the best interest of children. We are so glad we found them!
