Merit Children's Academy

Our child started at Merit when she was six months old, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The staff and teachers are incredible—caring, patient, and truly invested in each child’s growth. They made the transition seamless and provided constant support for our family The engaging activities, fun crafts, and parent events created a warm and enriching environment where our little one thrived. We highly recommend Merit for any parent looking for a loving and nurturing daycare in the Dallas area. Sadly, after a year at Merit we moved out of the city and it has been hard to replicate the experience we had here. Although our daughter is happy at her new daycare, she misses the love and support that Merit provided.

Literally the BEST in the city. My daughter has grown to be comfortable with the staff and has shown a tremendous amount of improvement. Merit was her 1st daycare/school home and I’m thankful to have found a safe and nurturing environment for my little one!

My son attended Merit for almost a year and I always felt safe dropping him off with the multi-level security in and around the building. Additionally, the staff was great! Lizzy was always very responsive with our questions and helping my family navigate any problem we encountered. The teachers were very sweet to the babies and I always appreciated the communication and pictures throughout the day. We were very sad to leave Merit after deciding to move out of state. It is more on the expensive side, but I feel the monthly parents night out just shows the extra steps Merit puts into making this a great daycare.

We encountered some challenges with communication and how certain parent-teacher issues were addressed, there seems to be a lack in navigating concerns in a constructive way. Additionally, there was a situation where several children, including mine, were partially excluded in an end-of-year event due to a missed app message, something that seemed to affect many families and felt a bit disheartening. I recognize that every family’s experience is different, and I believe the team is still growing and learning. While this program wasn’t the right fit for us, I hope that sharing our perspective contributes to a broader understanding of what to expect.

This was my son’s 1st day care in the city and since day 01 he was treated super well. He loved the teachers and staff. After changing school, he still talks about Ms Chyna!!
