Mi Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool

My daughter has had a wonderful, enriching experience at Mi Escuelita! Not only has she made friends and expanded her Spanish language skills, she is also well prepared for her transition to kindergarten. The staff and admin are wonderful. Cannot say enough good things!

Mi Escuelita is an exceptional daycare. It has caring and devoted staff. My child has been happy and thriving. When he started ~2.5 years ago he was not able to speak a word of Spanish (he comes from a non-Spanish-speaking household) and he is now proficient (or at least what feels like "proficient" for a five year old). Also, the school does not skimp on other enrichment activities, and their days are filled with educational play, writing practice, drawing, music, dance, books, and general good times.

The Mi Escuelita community has meant so much to our family over the past 3 years. We have had two children graduate from the school and transition to Frank Porter Graham. Neither of them had any Spanish-speaking experience when they started at Mi Escuelita and it was incredible to see how quickly they absorbed the language. They both loved the school, their teachers, and the friends they made. The director Marie Ann is fantastic. I would highly recommend the school to anyone interested in a Spanish immersion experience.

Mi Escuelita is a great preschool! Our oldest daughter completed 4 years there and now our second daughter is into her second year - both know Spanish quite well. What we love most about Mi Escuelita is the warmth of the staff; our kids are loved and doted upon as much as they are at home! All of the teachers have been there for a long time, so it's a very safe and stable environment. The staff is not merely a collection of quality nurturers, they are highly qualified academically too. Great school!

Our daughter has attended Mi Escuelita for about 15 months and we couldn't be happier. No Spanish is spoken in our home, but she took to the language without any trouble and we're really excited that she's growing up bilingual. The teachers are very dedicated, affectionate, and caring. They really engage with the children to make sure everyone has fun while also learning good manners and developing new skills. Highly recommend it!
