i didn’t want to leave a bad review but want other parents to be aware that they don’t take kids who bite or chew on things. leaving 3 stars because my son never actually got to go here. we did a tour of the facility and he was evaluated by staff members there in the span of about 15 minutes. he was rejected for biting toys and “attempting” to bite staff members, although he was and is easily redirected. i’m in putnam county and we have almost no facilities for autistic kids, so i wanted to share this so other parents don’t get their hopes like we did, being that biting is such a common behavior in autistic children (especially toddlers). seems like they only want to work with easy kids.

My grandson has been going there for 2 years and he just graduated from there and September he will be going to kindergarten. Mid Hudson has done a lot with him. Ms Stephanie is very good and so is everyone else

My son is currently in this program the teachers are wonderful. The administration that has taken over the hospital are treating our children more like a business then an education center. When I signed my son up for the program in September and signed my “contract” food was to be included. Now they give us 2 weeks notice that food will no longer be included. Due to their “fiscal” accounting. This is very unprofessional. Midhudson and the admistration is a disgrace. I had another child who I would have been signing my child into this program. They now lost business.
