We can’t say enough about how wonderful Nilo has been with our baby girl. As first time parents, having her in daycare starting at 18 months was a big leap of faith but we always felt great about dropping her off. We attribute her easy transition to the warmth, care and friendships that they build both with the children and between them. Our little girl went from being very shy too outgoing and social. She always comes home saying that she had fun. If you are looking for the perfect place to start your little one then this is it!

My 3yo had the best time at Ms. Nilo's. When we first started, I had expected some separation anxiety and tears at drop-off, but they never came! It was the smoothest transition from one day care to another. Ms. Nilo's environment is supportive, fun, and engaging, so much that most mornings, my daughter would walk straight inside, without even a care to say or hug goodbye to me first. She would be in a great mood and talkative about her friends at pick up time; it felt great to be leaving her in such capable hands. My daughter honestly felt very much at home with Ms. Nilo. The backyard play area is cute, with several climbing structures and mini-roller coaster/vehicles. The front yard has a dome climbing structure that my daughter would usually climb on for a few minutes after I picked her up...she was never in a rush to leave Ms. Nilo's house. :) Would 100% recommend Ms. Nilo and her crew for reliable and loving child care. Drop-offs and pick-ups are quick and easy, the meals and snacks are all included with tuition, and daily activities are engaging. Ms. Nilo provides a wonderful environment.

Ms Nilo and her team did an amazing job over the last couple of years with our son. From learning how to socialize all the way to eating a variety of food, he has wonderful memories. His strongest ones are of his best friends from daycare, and we are thankful to meet that wonderful group of kids (and parents)! It is difficult to find a daycare that can provide care for two working parents, here is one of them

We can't say enough positive things about Ms. Nilo and her daycare. Our daughter had never been in a daycare setting before and had a tough time adjusting. Nilo was very patient with her and with us, helping to get our daughter comfortable in the new environment and keeping us updated on her progress every day. It's easy to see that she pours so much love into the children and all of the other kids and families are absolutely wonderful. Nilo even opened her home to all the daycare families for a weekend get together. We would absolutely recommend Monterey Family Childcare for anyone looking and they work with your schedule if you are only looking for part-time care.

The WAIT LIST is worth the WAIT. Nilo and staff make meals that matter. Fresh nutritious and specific to the children’s individual needs whether it’s allergies or a runny nose. Clean and safe environment due to the meticulously daily cleaning, temperature checks in the morning and shoes off at the door. Truly caring and attentive, Ms. Nilo always seems to know when your kid is coming down with a cold. She supplies extra cuddles, temp checks throughout the day, and communicates changes. Strong connections with the kids make pick up time more of an extended goodbye because the kids are never ready to leave. The kids daily excitement of a new song, fun art project or story about the adventures they had with their friends that day. Monterey Family Childcare has been more than just a daycare for us. It’s been a place where our daughter has grown, thrived and felt truly loved for three years. We will miss this place immensely.
