Montessori Early Learning Center

Montessori Early Learning Center is truly a hidden gem in Columbia. My child has been part of the MELC family for over six years, and watching her grow and thrive here has been an incredible blessing. The teachers pour so much love and dedication into every child, nurturing their strengths and gently guiding them to reach their full potential. I’m beyond grateful for the strong, nurturing foundation my child has received. Mrs. Ina and her amazing staff embody everything Montessori should be — thoughtful, intentional, and full of heart.

Montessori learning was the style of learning I didn’t realize my daughter needed until we came to MELC. My daughter, in a short period of time, has developed so many skills beyond my expectation! The principal and teachers are dedicated and actively working with you to help your child reach their aptitude. I absolutely appreciate how the principal, Mrs. Fort, takes time to educate parents about Montessori learning as your child develops so that you have an understanding of how your child is learning different concepts. I feel so blessed that we discovered such a wonderful school that has been such a great fit for our daughter!

I am eternally grateful for the amazing foundation MELC created for my daughter. The MELC staff goes above and beyond to feed into the children not only educational knowledge but life skills. They helped set my now 8th grader up for success. She has exceeded all her standardized test scores due to the MELC methods of learning. I highly recommend this school for anyone to send their children too.

We are delighted and thankful for the work done by the teachers and staff at MELC. The school has made a tremendous contribution to our daughter's growth: intellectual, physical, and social. The Montessori system helped her learn to read from a very young age and develop an affinity for math and sciences. Teamwork and service are developed as core elements of the curriculum. Excellence and kindness are inculcated since day 1.

The most consequential decision my wife and I made regarding our son's and grandson's education was to enroll them at the Montessori Early Learning Center - we cannot recommend that school enough! The teachers there are phenomenal - they challenge their students and make them earn the grade - my two boys love, respect, and truly look up to them. There is not another school quite like it, nor is there another principal quite like Ms. Ina Fort! Love that place :-)
