Morning Bird Preschool

Our family had a fantastic experience with Teacher Kate and Morning Bird Preschool this past year. It was my son's first school experience, and Teacher Kate made him feel so welcome and cared for. She was very communicative with us on our son's progress over the school year. Teacher Kate is a wonderful person who puts a lot of thought and care into the activities she plans for the kids. She is patient, kind, and takes the time to get to know each individual student. I have only good things to say. Thank you for everything Teacher Kate!

Kate founded Morning Bird and I need to say that having her take care of my Autistic son in the evenings for 7 years was the gift of a lifetime. She did this before she opened her own Preschool. We all want the amenities and Morning Bird has every single thing a child could want to learn from and grow and explore, but where the difference comes in is with KATE. Every now and then there is a unique individual that you feel can offer something extraordinary to your child, something that comes with the extra minutes of understanding, or the hug, or that smile of hers, the genuine delight she has in life itself. I'd say you were VERY lucky to have found Kate as I did.

I feel incredibly fortunate that our son has had the privilege of attending Morning Bird Preschool for two years, as a 3 year old AND as a 4 year old. It is a very special preschool environment -- welcoming, joyous and nurturing. Teacher Kate is so warm, experienced, skilled and dedicated. She creates a community of young learners who learn about sharing space and ideas in a very organic way. Teacher Kate thoughtfully prepares her engaging lessons with themes, rich with art, music and language. Most importantly, all the kids feel LOVED and SEEN by their teacher. My son's strong relationship with his teacher has set a very positive tone for future school experiences. Also, because Morning Bird School is a small community, I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know most of the families and the preschoolers. Morning Bird has been an inspiring space for my son as a learner and for me as a parent -- I HIGHLY recommend it for your family!

Our son has absolutely loved attending Morning Bird. The smaller class size really helped him come out of his shell, feel confident, and learn in a less overstimulating environment. Teacher Kate has created a very special program. She takes the time to really understand each child, is firm yet kind, and always has fun things planned in advance for every day they are together. We feel very lucky to have found this sweet school!

We feel so fortunate to have found Teacher Kate and Morning Bird Preschool. The preschool is small and warm and feels like an extension of home. Teacher Kate provides such a calm and nurturing environment for the kids and our daughter has truly thrived there. Teacher Kate is a seasoned, highly knowledgeable and caring educator. You can really tell that she is doing her life's work here and that is reflected in the happiness of the students. Because of the smaller size, she is able to get to know each child well. And the children absolutely adore her! We really value her approach to social emotional learning and the care and thoughtfulness that she puts into the school and each child who attends. We are so thankful for Teacher Kate and Morning Bird Preschool!
