Mother's Choice Child Care

My daughter has been going to Mothers Choice for over 2 years now. It was incredibly difficult leaving my 3 month old to go back to work but I really trusted that Lena and Ms Ellie would care for my baby with the highest of standards and they absolutely did. She is now 2.5 years old and Mother’s Choice and the staff are like a second home to my daughter. Ms Ellie is absolutely wonderful with the babies and Lena, the owner is very hands on and great with the kids too. Mother’s Choice is a very trusted place to bring your child. I’m so grateful for the loving and caring staff.

If you’re child acts like a child, do not waste your time. The owner knit picked every move my son made. Ridiculous complaints. He was trying to open doors, eat bark outside or pushing toys. I even offered to buy the daycare child proof door handles. But their job is to watch the kids, so complaints like that, are pointless and hurts to hear as a mother - as a mom, constantly hearing nothing but complaints about your child, hurts your heart. Looking at it now, the owner wants kids who aren’t a lot of work - easy money. There is one teacher to the toddlers and infants and when I asked why don’t they hire more people I was told “if we hired more people, Lena (the owner) would go after you for their salary because they would need to tend to your son only”. Super professional/reassuring for a mother. My son is non-verbal and I think they took that and ran with it. I was even told that the other kids understand when being told no but my son, well, he just doesn’t get it… They don’t redirect or teach the kids when their doing something there not supposed to, instead they remove them and either lock them in the high chair or put them in the pack-n-play. Numerous times did I walk in and my son was isolated in a different room because he was pushing toys around and it was “unsafe”. But, they’re getting paid, a very good amount, to watch the kids so I’m confused? The owner is greedy and they use the excuse of “language barrier” when she comes off harsh. That’s no excuse. Their hours are 7:30-5:30 and almost every day when I pulled into the parking lot at 7:30, Ms. Ellie or Lena were right behind me. For one, I’ve never heard of a daycare opening so late and second, you think they’d get there earlier to open up and get the day started but there was zero rush. All in all, let your kids be kids and take them somewhere where they came learn, grown and have fun. This is not the place for any of that.

We had a very positive experience here. Flexible hours, energetic and consistent staff. My child brought home the cutest art projects, could count to 10 in Spanish and could count and identify numbers in English. They provided meals and snacks, which made busy days easier for me! The building was also very clean and my child had a nice clean face and hands when I picked him up. The owner is very sincere and appreciative towards all of the lovely people that come to her for childcare.

I have been using Mother’s Choice for over a year and I really love it. They have great caregivers who really take great care of the kids. I love that my child is always super happy when I pick him up and always in a good mood from a fun day. They go outside every day and do fun things all day. I really appreciate the great care my kid gets and can’t say enough great things about Mother’s Choice!

My son has been going here since he was 4 months old and he absolutely loves it. The staff is amazing, I feel like they are part of my family and that he is in great hands. It is hard trusting a childcare facility with your most precious babies, but I am so glad we chose Mother's Choice. I would highly recommend visiting them if you are looking for a daycare that your child will flourish and feel like you're part of the family.
