Ms. Alison's Kangaroo Preschool

We can't recommend this sweet preschool enough! Over the last 4 years, both of our children have attended Preschool with Ms. Alison. We were looking for a half-day, nature and play-based preschool with experienced teachers and hit the jackpot when we found Ms. Alison's Kangaroo preschool! We watched our children build social and emotional skills, get plenty of outdoor play time, marvel at the chickens, ducks, and garden, and always come home happy and excited for their next day there. My daughter was well-prepared for Kindergarten, and my son is right on track as his preschool days come to a close. We feel so lucky to have seen such blossoming growth from both our kids. We are very thankful for our time spent at Kangaroo preschool with Ms. Alison and Ms. Anna; both incredibly caring, kind, and insightful women that we will miss terribly!

We feel so lucky to have found Kangaroo Preschool. Our daughter started when she was 3 and our 2.5 yr old just recently started attending as well. Ms. Alison and Ms. Anna are very nurturing and attentive, and the school atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Our children look forward to going to preschool and always leave feeling happy and excited for the next day. We feel confident that our children will be prepared for kindergarten when the time comes, and we have really loved seeing them both flourish and grow since attending Kangaroo Preschool!

We love Kangaroo Preschool! The outdoor space for the kids to play, with woods, chickens, garden are ideal. Ms Alison and Ms Anna are so loving with the kids; you can see how much they care.

A great preschool and teacher. Alison has a fantastic set-up with outdoor play equipment, vegetable gardens and chickens. Inside she has lots of area for the children with room also for painting and creative arts. She is very careful to also provide a very clean environment - something important to parents who do not want sick kids! She previously taught 2 of my children at Ruckersville Elementary School and has a genuine love for teaching and also caring for young children. Alison is very organized, has a huge toolbox of creative offerings and encourages kids to have plenty of fun whilst learning. Highly recommend.

Alison and Anna were amazing with my very shy and reserved son.. with their guidance and care he has become a social butterfly and learned so much. We have loved our last 2 years with them! I highly recommend them!
