Signed my newborn up to go here before he was born as finding childcare is awful in this town. I was told by them to get signed up online with an account which I did and then when it gets much closer to the start date we will get payment… mind you we were like 6 months from the startdate. I have my baby… call them a month later… still about 2 months out from starting daycare to see what I need to do to make sure this is all good…. They tell me the called me multiple times for payment and never heard back so they canceled his spot. First I have no missed calls, no voicemails and they have my email i have emailed them before and nothing from them in there. I explain all this and they said they would get back to me…. Well they never got back to me.. still waiting.. found out they don’t have a spot available for awhile so that’s probably why they aren’t calling. This of all very unprofessional and messed up. As I stated childcare is hard to get here and for me to go through all that trouble to get things done before my baby arrived to be totally screwed is just not right. *beware*

We have been going to the KinderCare in Spokane on Mullan for a year and half and feel like a part of their family. The Director, Assistant Director and Teachers are some of the best people I have met. Through every interaction I can tell they love my kids and all the other kids who go there like their own. The education curricula is top notch and my five year old is leaps and bounds above where he should be at his age. I never see kids having meltdowns when they arrive which is a huge sign of trust and safety to me as a parent. Thank you Teresa, Jess and all the Teachers for being amazing human beings. We love KinderCare. Britaney

We are a military family and we’ve experienced several daycares around the country. This one has been our favorite by far. Every employee knows and loves our kids and makes them feel at home. They understand what it’s like for working parents and are always there to make our lives easier. Teresa and Jess are amazing directors and make the experience so welcoming and laid back. I didn’t know how everything was going to work with virtual learning for my school aged child during the pandemic but the teachers handled everything. They worked through assignments with her, made a schedule, kept her on track and made sure she attended all of her virtual meetings. They are so loving towards my youngest too. He gets all the cuddles and just loves singing and playing with his teachers. They have an app where they send daily pictures, videos, and updates. It makes communicating so easy and we love seeing what the kiddos are doing when we can’t be with them. I’m so glad we found this daycare!

I was hesitant to post this review. What was once an amazing learning center for my son, turned into an absolute disaster and disappointment. After 3 years I pulled him due to longtime staff quitting and continual staffing issues and lack of consistency and gradual lack of proper support for my son's needs. So much to the point it was grossly affecting my son who is neurodivergent. Consistency and secure attachment is vital for kiddos. Instead of taking accountability that what is happening there with the big behaviors and emotions many children were displaying due to the issues, they put it off on the children through ABC CHARTS and incident reports which is the first step to removing kids from daycare. Instead of being patient and understanding that major, constant, inconsistent changes negatively impact kids. This location has been going downhill for a couple of years. I never imagined it would come to a head the way it did. I used to rave about the quality of care my son received. Then, slowly every great teacher or director quit. I should have realized the red flags. Eventually the last straw for me was the resignation of not only the director who had bent over backwards during her years of time there to ensure my son's needs were met and supported, and the resignation of 3 teachers who had been there for YEARS, plus the terrible communication and support provided for my son by those who took over the roles towards the end of my son's time there. The daily messages on the app asking parents to find alternative care due to lack of staff. The insulting low wages the teachers are paid. The erosion of quality care. It all added up and prompted me and MANY longtime parents to pull our kids over the last few months. My son has been affected so much by this change in his life, he's struggling more now than ever. I am furious and I feel terrible for every family dealing with the fallout from what's happening at this center. There are no words this place could ever offer me and my son to make up for the damage that's been caused.
