My First Station Daycare

Having put my child over 3 daycares in the area, My First Station stands out by: - Its family feeling. You leave your child to a truly loving crew that we consider an extended family - its home-made food, with any child preference taken into account. Nutrition is important to us, and it’s rare to see daycares that have the time and energy to do it themselves (arepas are delicious) - Communication: we receive at least a picture of our child per day. Sometimes more during special activities. And we typically can text Ms Sandra directly to know what’s happening during critical times (first days, potty training, separation anxiety periods, etc) - Bank holidays: Ms Sandra and her crew are typically open more days of the year than the other daycares. As we have busy corporate lives, having our usual loving daycare during these odd bank holidays is super helpful - Open at 7.30am: it is rare to find that, and you have no traffic then. - Flexible: There are rules, but we can discuss with Ms Sandra to see how to solve a problem, and she is usually open to find solutions for our needs. For these reasons, it’s a gem in the Cupertino area, and would recommend leaving your kid to My First Station. I didn’t talk about the real benefits of having kids of different ages learn from each other like siblings, the big garden with tons of toys, or the Spanish filled activities that seem so fun.

I absolutely love this daycare, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ms. Sandra! She is so lovely with my baby and truly has a gift for connecting with little ones. Although my baby isn’t talking yet, I can tell he adores her—he’s always so content and happy in her care. Ms. Sandra’s warmth and kindness make me feel completely at ease leaving him here every day. The whole facility is clean, well-organized, and filled with activities that foster growth and joy. I’m so grateful to have found a place (and a teacher!) that makes us feel like family. Highly recommend!

Our daughter attended My First Station Daycare since she was 4 months old - she just turned 3! If you are looking for a Spanish immersion family daycare, look no further - THIS IS AN AMAZING DAYCARE and I’ve encouraged all of my friends and family to send their kids to Sandra’s (and many have taken our advice!) We could not be happier with our experience. Our daughter speaks Spanish fluently, just as well as her English. Compared to other kids her age, she’s more advanced with her letters, numbers, emotional sensitivity and communication in either language. The care she has received is so specialized, with a love and care that cannot be understated. They truly love each and every child, yet due to their educational background, they somehow seamlessly weave in learning in a way that has far surpassed all of our expectations. Our daughter is incredibly prepared for her next school, which we only changed because of the commute (40m in traffic every day). But I’ll tell you that when we have another child, we will absolutely deal with the commute again because this daycare is THAT special of a place. Look no further. My First Station Daycare is a jewel and you will be so thankful to have these wonderful people help raise your precious children.

Our son went to Sandra’s daycare since he was 11 months old. She is an extremely patient and loving teacher. Our son learnt to speak Spanish very well. The kids learn good eating habits. All the toddlers at the daycare love their broccoli beans carrots. Sandra serves hot homemade meals at home. She has a loving caring atmosphere and the kids really enjoy their time at the daycare. The backyard is beautiful with lots of toys. Overall highly recommend this place for little ones.

My kids went to Sandra's daycare for almost two years. They really enjoyed it and learned Spanish and English. They enjoyed the activities that Sandra had them do. Sandra's daycare provides healthy breakfast and lunch and some snacks, so that is great. My kids miss going to Sandra's house and ask when they can go back.
