New Awakenings Childcare

After my daughter's daycare closed due to a lack of staffing, I was left to find a new place that compared to the fantastic center we previously had. I toured a few places in town and realized I was going to have to lower my standards, that is until I found New Awakenings Daycare and Preschool! I have never tried in-home daycare before, but it's far exceeded my expectations! Dulce has been a blessing for our family and my daughter, who struggles with transitions and new people. My daughter took to Dulce faster than anyone I've seen! I love how she is constantly doing fun activities with the kids and teaches them too. The homey feel and welcoming atmosphere is so much better than traditional daycare. As long as my daughter is happy, I am happy! And my daughter LOVES it here! We are so thankful for Dulce and her family.

I started taking my daughter to New Awakenings about 2 years ago. I was incredibly nervous to take my daughter because she was a difficult baby and was often inconsolable. Dulce helped me with my anxiety with returning to work by knowing she would be taken care of. I can’t imagine a better place to be helping me to raise my daughter. Dulce is compassionate, patient, and caring. Ellie gets excited every day to go and I know Dulce will treat her with all the love that I would at home. 💙

Our daughter was with Dulce and her daughter Nashelli since she was 3 months old, for a year and half. They are wonderful caretakers and our daughter thought of them as family. For parents leaving their young kids with people, it’s a big leap and we felt very fortunate to have found them. They took care of her like their own and communicated with pictures of our child frequently. One thing I found comforting as time went on is that Dulce is very good at understanding the fundamentals of taking care of children, is constantly training and takes licensing the daycare very seriously. They sing songs, dance, teach etc and she was very happy there. I have another kiddo and wish I still lived close to them so they could help with him. I highly recommend New Awakenings childcare and am happy to talk to any parent that is considering sending their baby here. -Rima

My children have been attending daycare at Miss Dulce’s for a year and she has been so wonderful for them. She is patient, keep things fun, and teaches them how to be kind and helpful kids. While my husband and I are away at work we know they are safe and flourishing. It’s their home away from home.

Our kiddos went to New Awakenings Childcare for several years. We loved having our kids in her care. Dulce is simply amazing with kids! If we were still in the same city as New Awakenings, no doubt our kids would still be attending for daycare.
