My son's time at New Moon was a very sweet time in our lives. Cindy created a classroom community that hummed. The Montessori curriculum she adapts to her space is wonderful. The children in her classroom all knew what was expected, learned how to work independently and groups, and were a part of caring for the classroom and each other. My son loved going to school at New Moon. As a new parent, Cindy's explanations for why children do things and what she has seen work was super helpful in my own growth. I highly recommend New Moon Learning Environment. Any parent would be fortunate to get a spot there!

Cindy did a FANTASTIC job with both of my children for nearly 8 years combined! They learned consistent manners, science, reading, writing, math, cleaning and tons of hand-eye coordination! One instance will always stand out when we travelled with my daughter at three years of age to a large Thanksgiving gathering and the hostess dropped a plate in the kitchen... my 3 year old daughter (without being asked) went to the pantry, got a broom and dustpan and swept up the mess properly without being asked. (This was 100% New Moon teaching!). She will graduate from Athens Montessori this year and has consistently made (As) in the seventh and eighth grade. Best possible choice for young children in the area.

Have loved having our son @ New Moon and with Ms. Cindy the past 2 years. She's very thoughtful and takes the time to include everyone. We are beyond happy with how he's developing and enjoys going to school everyday.
