Our son started New School when he was 2 and we love it here! He's grown so much socially and emotionally. He's an only child but I think largely because of the strong bonds he's formed here and with his cousins, he's learned to share, fight, and finally express himself. The school also a provides large variety of creative and physical activities. It's almost always free play so he's been able to explore what he likes and doesn't like. NS is his second home and now that he's in kindergarten, the stability of NS has made the transition so much more stable. We thought we were just picking a preschool but what we got was a loving community : )

Fantastic first school for our outgoing and high energy 3 year old boy. Play based lovely atmosphere caring sharp staff and kids that could melt your heart. Flexible hours from 7am to 6pm and budget friendly with top service for active parents. Best fit for us in Berkeley! Check website for more info...

Great environment for active kids. They focus on play and doing projects. Outdoor space is big and food is super healthy. We feel lucky to have found this thoughtful and loving school!
