There are some basic things that need to be changed. For example, kids are required to stay in their cots during a two-hour nap time, even if a child no longer takes naps. This is common for toddlers. In other daycares across the country, they allow kids who do not nap anymore to play in another area. The reason for this policy is that there is not enough staff, and they need to take turns for lunch breaks. Therefore, the kids are required to stay in a cot for two hours, doing nothing and not making noise. This is very cruel for toddlers, who are naturally active and like to move around.
