North Broadway Children's Center

Two of our kids have gone here since 3 years old & infancy. We have had the most supportive directors, teachers & staff care for our kids over the 5 years we've been there. Such amazing, thoughtful approaches to learning. We feel very, very grateful to North Broadway Children's Center!

North Broadway has been a wonderful experience for our family. We have a decent age gap between my oldest and youngest child, and were thrilled to still see some of the same staff when returning after almost 10 years. To me, that demonstrates a well-managed facility and a staff truly dedicated to the development of children. The center hours and center closures (all holidays) were all communicated and provided well in advance, so we did not have any surprises and have always been able to plan our PTO for the year. We have made many lasting friendships from NBCC and are thankful to have them as we journey through the stages of parenthood!

My daughter was shy and cried a lot in the first day of school. Luckily for her, her teachers were Ms. Judy and Ms. Deena. They're wonderful teachers and they really care for their students. After a couple of days, my daughter started loving to go to school. Now already in first grade, she misses Ms. Judy and Ms. Deena very much.

Cannot reccomend this place enough! Our daughter was in a great school near Polaris by my office, but halfway through COVID my office went full remote workforce and it was no longer an option. Thankfully, we had toured every daycare in Clintonville, and suddenly North Broadway had an opening. Our daughter was in the butterfly room (although I've met parents from several other rooms who say they also had a wonderful experience), Niya immediately made a friend and felt comfortable there, and just as importantly, so did we. Over 3 years our daughter come home as happy as could be, often saying in her last year "This was the Best Day Ever!!". All of the parents are also very engaged, this last year the summer 'birthday party circuit' really helped us all get to know each other, which is also really wonderful! Our kiddo has graduated pre-school, is looking forward to Kindergarten and will always be a part of NBCC! Thank you so much, Emma, Jessica, and Jill - we so appreciate the interest you take, and investments you make, in the development of the kids us parents trust you with!

This place is a real life Hand Maid’s Tale experience. If you’re not a white, wealthy, nuclear family I wouldn’t recommend. If you and your partner have unlimited PTO and funds for random weeks off and meetings, then this is the place for you. Labeled my child very quickly to get him out of the classroom into a half day special needs program because they pack 20 4 year olds in a class with a play based pedagogy. Charged for full time care in the summer and only allowed him to attend part time. He’s at a less “prestigious” center now and they adore him. No problems. Imagine that.
