We love Once Upon a Childcare! My son has been going there for the last two years and always has the best time at daycare. They have several outdoor playgrounds that the kids love. They provide breakfast, lunch and a snack. They worked with us when my son was a late walker and again when he needed foot braces. Everyone there is very patient and kind. We couldn’t ask for a better daycare.

While my wife and I never feared for our preschooler's safety, over time it was clear he would never thrive at Once Upon a Childcare, as he has at prior daycares or as he is in his new care environment.
Extremely high turnover (our son had 5 different teachers in six months), poor layout, and wildly different teaching styles between the constantly rotating caregivers gave a sense of growing chaos.
We've moved alot during my son's short life and we've been fortunate to have enrolled him various great daycares prior to this one. None of them allowed for such high levels of discord amongst the children. Screaming children, kids hitting other kids, teachers yelling at students and the like were overly common place at OUAC. At first we chalked it up to the the class age, but overtime it became clear that classroom management there had much to be desired.
Once we pulled our son from OUAC we noticed an immediate improvement in his disposition and behavior. This improvement has only gained momentum now that he is in a new school. He's returned to his kind, curious, eager-to-help self now that OUAC is in the rearview.
It's a shame because we had the pleasure of meeting some teachers who truly cared about the kids, however, they are simply not set up to succeed here.
There are certainly worse daycares out there, but I would urge anyone looking into this school to seriously consider alternatives.

Once upon a childcare has been a great fit for my family. My daughters have been going there for years.
They are always talking about how much they like their teachers, and how much fun they had throughout the day.
Seeing how comfortable my kids are around the staff makes the days away from them go by with more ease, as I know they are always in good hands.
The facility itself is well maintained, and the staff does a great job at keeping it clean.
All in all, my kids have been happy there and I would highly recommend this daycare.

I cannot express my gratitude to OUAC and how i 100% recommend working here. leaving my last center was an easy decision but a difficult action. I absolutely loved the kids and the families as the families i had met had been absolutely amazing and being able to love their babies was and is still the best part of the job but the center itself from the owner to coworkers made going to work each day almost dreadful. At OUAC i have experienced nothing but the opposite. I found myself not crying every night as i turned my morning alarms on and didn’t realize it but i was meeting some of my best friends. I plan to stay here as long as they’ll have me; a sentence i have never been able to say before. It’s one big family from the actual family working together to the people who just started, you can’t miss the respect everyone has for each other. They respect both the families who attend and the teachers who work there and have never seen a better balance. Being told that there is a health department visit or licensing is stopping by has never been so mellow. There is no scramble to make sure everything is in order because it already is. This is not only an expectation but a standard we have and hold proudly. Loving kids is easy but loving where you work is difficult and they manage to do both.

I worked at OUAC ( Bubble) for almost 4 years from October 2020 till October 2024 and I can say firsthand it's a fantastic place to work. It truly is one big happy family from all the staff to all the families that attend. No matter if you've been there for a while or you just started. We are always joking and laughing about something. It's a job you don't dread going into everyday. You get up in the morning looking forward to seeing your co-workers and all the kiddos. I worked firsthand in a classroom with Thea as co-teachers before she became the director. I have watched her grow and become the amazing director she is. Thea and Shaunna are so great with all the staff, families and kids. I have watched so many kids start in the infant room and move all the way up and graduating. There are so many good family that attend and have attend OUAC. At the beginning of the year I moved to more helping Ms Stacy in the kitchen and I loved it. I also still helped in classrooms and wherever I was needed. I love seeing the smiles on the kiddos face when I would bring lunch and snack around. Hearing all the giggles and laughter coming from each classroom as the teachers and kids do their activities just warms my heart. Hearing that there will be a health department visit or licensing is coming has never been a problem. We aren't scrambling to try to get things in order before they come. Because following the rules and regulations is a daily practice and standard, OUAC proudly holds I have heard many stories from co-workers of places they have worked in the past that aren't good. I can definitely say OUAC It's not like that at all. It truly is an amazing place to have your kids attend or work. I would definitely recommend.
