We are on round two of being a part of the OGNS community. We did 3 years with our son and we are now on our 2nd year with our daughter. We clearly have many choices for our kiddos and although a co op wasn’t on our radar when we set out for schools… I’m so glad we gave it a chance. We have friends that will last a lifetime. The teachers/ staff hold a special place in our hearts. I’m forever grateful for all the knowledge and support we were given as first time parents as well as new challenges we face navigating two. This school has helped build our children into smart, independent, confident little humans.

Attending Open Gate Nursery School has been an extremely positive experience for my family. Through the parent education I’ve become a more confident and capable parent. In getting to know the other parents I’ve found a supportive community of people who know my child so well that they are uniquely poised to help with my parenting challenges. During the two-day class my daughter became comfortable separating from me, grew very close with Teacher Lori and the working parents, and learned how to assert her needs when in conflict with another child. While Open Gate provides an incredible preschool environment, parents also enjoy a practical and comprehensive education. I can’t think of a better community to call my own!
