Park View Child and Family Center-Head Start

They are patient and awesome and my daughter loved it. She learned how to write her name and other kinder prep skills. If there were minor behavior issues amongst the kiddos, the teachers and aids handled them promptly and in a kind way. I'm honestly surprised about previous negative reviews I saw because that was not at all our experience. my daughter will miss going. Shout out to teacher Angela , she really cares about the kids and it shows.

Hello. I’m very disappointed. So today is the last day of my child attending this school. I’ve decided to remove them from the school 4mo early. My child in the last 4 mo of being there has not made 1 friend, has become afraid to go to school because the other children are so violent, and has devolved in all academic skills that was learned from another class/school last year. When I observe the class, the teachers have no control. The children are violent and do not listen, and there’s no accountability or respect or consequences for kicking someone in the face ( for example). The teachers try to justify that all schools in the area are not so good, but that does not justify such a lacking in quality at a pre school that is geared and funded for kindergarten prep. This place is simply a glorified babysitting institution. It could just be this one class that is corrupted, but either way the experience here was not the most pleasant and has affected my child negatively. So I will be removing my child and switch to work nights so I can teach them during the day.

I would never let megan kennedy near my children based on how she treats retail workers when she isint on the clock. Truly a nasty individual to deal with.
