Parker-Chase Preschool of East Cobb - Johnson Ferry

We couldn’t be happier with Parker Chase East Cobb! The staff is so warm, caring, and professional. It feels like a community and the outside regular hours events they host are so fun! They do a wonderful job balancing play, learning, and structure. We love the variety of art projects, outdoor playtime, and age-appropriate learning. My older son started here as an infant and we just enrolled my 4 month old in the classroom. We love all the infant teachers! It’s such a relief knowing they are in a safe, nurturing environment with people who genuinely care. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality care and peace of mind!

We've had our daughter here now for just over a year and have really loved it. We had some bumps at first (first time parents) getting adjusted, but the staff was very patient with us and very open with the "Why" of everything. Our daughter is now in her third class here as she's progressed, and watching her grow from the time we started to now has been awesome to watch. We receive updates regularly on the app and all of the staff is great. All of them know all the kids names which is impressive on its own. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I wanted to wait to write a review after my child had attended here for a period of time. My child has been there for almost a year and every day has been great. He’s always excited to go to school. Ms. GG and Mr. Myles truly have a talent of finding out what kids need and responding accordingly. Ms. GG shows up everyday with new ideas and fun for my child and supports the kids in any way possible. My son has become much more confident and talks about what he learns everyday. Additionally, teachers in other rooms know him and his name and he knows he’s loved everyday there. Ms. Chelsie, Ms. Tiffany, Ms. Rayna, Ms Dana all make it a point to say hello or goodbye whenever they see him. The menu is varied and there are some days where it’s not his favorite but they always have something that he will enjoy. They offer multiple opportunities for parents to get into the classroom and community events. My son is learning all kinds of life skills and at a birthday party recently, he made sure to clear his place and pick up any trash. Parents are expected to check the child’s cubby at the end of the day and take home whatever is needed. We had a blanket get mixed up into another bucket, but a parent washed it and brought it back for us. My son has had three incident reports (bumping into a friend, falling and scraping a knee, and running into a pole on the playground-we’ve since learned to watch where we are running :)) and every time paperwork has been entered into the portal and within a half hour of paperwork appearing online, administration had called me and let me know what had happened. I love the key code to sign in and that any visitors must present a license to be scanned through the system before entering the building. Has there been some turnover? Of course, but that’s typical of any daycare I believe. The main teachers of each room have been the same since we have been there and truly are beyond kind and caring. I only have experience right now with the “big kid” side of things but from other parents in the building I’ve only heard positive things from the baby rooms.

I need to leave this review and should have left it a while ago. I needed to process the events. My daughter went to Parker Chase and was not a fan. Every day, I'd come to pick her up and she'd be crying off to the side alone. She wouldnt eat the food, but every day her profile said she ate all of her food. I knew that we wouldnt be there long because they said that I could not provide lunch. For naptime the parents were encouraged to send a comfort toy from home. Someone stole my child's rabbit. My guess is that staff stole it. It was brand new and very unique. So...Every single day my duaghter came home crying. So after the first week I started watching the videos every day. One day I saw an assistant teacher push her. When I comfronted leadership I was told that the video was erased. Someone from the management team called me to apologize, but I think she only did that to calm me down because I was so angry. Basically parker chase ignored my child and when she went to the teacher for comfort, the teacher pushed her away. Im still waiting for management to call me back with the results of their "investigation." Havent heard from anyone since. Be careful if you choose Parker Chase in Marrietta.

Our son loves all his teachers- Ms. Lucy, Ms. Sharmilla, and Ms. Mia in infant 1. He always gives them a big smile when we arrive! They make every baby feel so special and loved while us parents are away at work. I love all the pictures and updates I get daily. The administration here is incredible too- Kayla, Narrissa and Heather know everyone by name and are always so sweet.
