Iâm writing this review to express serious concerns about the way this facility is being operated, particularly regarding staffing and the care of children with unique needs.
My five-year-old child attended this center, and from the beginning, we faced challenges that were made worse by a clear lack of staffing, proper communication, and inadequate support systems. We had begun the process of securing an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) for our childâsomething legally and ethically important to ensure proper care and support. Instead of working with us through that process, the facility abruptly terminated our childâs enrollment, citing being âunderstaffedâ and going so far as to blame our child for staff quittingâan absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional response.
The center promotes features like in-room cameras and regular updates through the ProCare app, but these tools are either not in place or not used properly. Photos and updates were inconsistent or non-existent, and there was a lack of transparency throughout our time there.
Redirection strategies were also lacking. Rather than offering age-appropriate, proactive redirection methods (such as engaging the child with a sensory activity like clay), the staff relied on offering too many choices to a young child who clearly needed more structured guidance and support. This is not effective redirectionâit's a sign of underprepared staff and poor training.
Most importantly, if a daycare is short-staffed, they should not be enrolling more children. Safety and individual care should come before business growth. Parents deserve to know if a center is unable to meet basic staffing or safety standards.
This experience has been heartbreaking and frustrating. I strongly encourage other parents to ask the hard questions before enrolling their children here: Do they truly have the staff to support your child? Are their cameras active and monitored? Are communication tools being used reliably? And are they prepared to support children with learning or behavioral needs?
Sadly, for us, the answer to all of these questions was no.

My parents used to take me here when I was but a wee lad, and âTwas a good experience. The caretakers were kind and respectful but were also stern when needed. Glad to see this place still running! Good feelings all around. Loved it here, I highly recommend.

We have loved every moment at Parkview Early Learning Center! The staff has become family to us because of their true love and devotion to our children. We have had 4 children learn in this facility and they have felt love and comfort by all who have worked there! The owner exudes pure joy to all around him! They have created a welcoming and nurturing learning environment. The security is top notch! They are an Early Head-start program; they offer soccer classes for my toddlers, they have bent over backwards to accommodate my daughter's specific dietary needs and they spend evenings , holidays and weekends being trained on the most current early childhood learning strategies. They care for the whole child! They are a support to our family when we need it the most; whether it is through a conversation, smile or a hug. They are always there for us! I cannot say enough about this Childcare Center! Thank you Parkview for loving my children and our family!
