Pearlite Montessori Home

Our family remains grateful and delighted to have connected with Pearlite Montessori. Our child attended there for a year and a half, and received the most amazing balance of a loving, nurturing family - centered place along with challenging and creative educational activity. The community- centered focus that Nilo brings into the classroom/daycare space has so many positive ripple effects within the group of children, as well as the circle of families who surround them. We are forevergrateful for this experience, and it will remain as a hugely positive impact on our family. Cannot recommend enough!

Pearlite Montessori is the exact environment I was looking for when selecting a preschool for our daughter. Nilo, her husband and two daughters welcome all the children like they are family. The warm, loving approach has been essential in helping my daughter transition to a school environment. I have seen her social interactions and confidence continually improve since starting school. We are so lucky to be part of this amazing community that Nilo and Ceyhan have created. From the moment we started we knew this school was special. Nilo has nurtured and cared for our daughter for the past 2 years and she couldn’t have been in better hands. She meets each kid where they’re at, provides a safe space for them to grow and explore, and builds so much confidence in every kiddo. We’ve always appreciated our relationship with Nilo and how she connects with us as parents and humans. We can’t wait to send our second kid to Pearlite when she’s old enough.

My daughter Maya attended Pearlite Montessori from 2-4 years old. We absolutely loved our time there and cannot thank Nilo enough for the loving care she gave to our daughter. We really enjoyed the home like setting and feel as we made life long friends with the other students and parents at the school. I’d highly recommend to any parent looking for a school in the Greater Portland area!

Fantastic school, teachers, facility, and owners! Our 2yr old loves it and we can rest easy knowing he is happy and in a safe environment while we are away at work.
