Playhouse Child Care Center

I will start with the director, Heather. She is a gem! She is easy to contact. She is prompt with responses. She always offers a smile! My little started around 6 months old. It was the hardest time of my life! They sent photos often and gave me reassurance when separation felt impossible. Maureen will truly love your child like her own and has the best cuddles for your babe. We are now 2 and in the infant room! Brooke is amazing! I cannot say enough good things. She is friendly and great with kids. She also will correct them when they are doing wrong, which I appreciate. It truly takes a village. And this is my village. It is likely they have a wait list but they are so worth it. I should also add that while I was in nursing school, Heather was very understanding and let me know if I ever needed to drop him off a little early, she could arrange it

My 3 year old son has always had a hard time leaving me and since he started here he has adjusted so well!! They help him transition out of my arms and into theirs every morning! They are so good to him and he loves all of them. He talks about the ladies and the kids everyday. He is learning a lot as he’s in the preschool program. He’s been going there now for 5 months and I will never send him anywhere else!! Absolutely love the Campus Playhouse!!

Not very happy with the services my child received at this daycare. Teacher is NOT attentive to the kids, sat around while kids were climbing on furniture. Always had attitude. She didn’t take time to help children with dressing to go outside. My child’s boots were always on the wrong feet. She never had her hat on while playing outside. These people get paid to take care of our kids and we can’t even depend on them to help kids get dressed properly. My daughter got hurt on the slide and had pain in her groin area for days, I requested a written incident report from the teacher, she said” well we didn’t know anything about it” so I never received the incident report. How do you not know what is happening in your daycare? My daughter couldn’t urinate without hurting and screaming of pain causing her to have accidents ( she is fully potty trained). This center doesn’t take time to let the child adjust to the environment. If your child is coming from a home daycare, I wouldn’t recommend this place . They label kids as “ product of their environment “ not exactly sure what that means, my child has great environment around her. This daycare replaced my child within few days of being there, didn’t even give me two week notice. Director gave me 4 days because she already found a replacement. Which is bs if you ask me,. That means she was looking to replace my child from day one. My daughter is currently in another daycare center and she is doing great. No issues what’s so ever. Teachers are great. My daughter getting along with other kids and listening to all her instructors. So whatever this center had against my child is very unprofessional. If I could give less of a rating For this place I would.

My 2 children, one with significant special needs attended school here for 1 year. My daughter was also a part of the head start program. The teachers and management were absolutely wonderful. They are all very attentive to each student's individual needs. They handle behavior issues with genuine care. Every child is treated equally. My children loved going here. If I hadn't moved out of state, they would still be attending there.

The staff is friendly, caring and helpful. I have never worried about my child while she is in their care. Do not have a single complaint.
