Plum Oaks Childcare & Farm

From the first day I met Jody and Gail I was confident my girl would be safe which is priceless but the relationship they made with my daughter was above and beyond. They truly love her and She genuinely loves them both. They are advocates for My Ellie and have become part of our family. They encouraged, supported and enriched my daughter to be her best self, nurturing her individual style, talents, challenges, and emotions. Our communication was amazing updates on progress and check-ins. Jody and Gail take self care seriously and have healthy boundaries. The support and relationships that were built organically with other parents are a blessed bonus, I have made some amazing friends. My daughter has made friends for life and those friendship connections were nurtured and a testament to Plum Oaks culture and care. What a gift we found in Plum Oaks. I couldn't be more proud to be part of the Plum Oaks Family. I cant wait to see how my younger daughter will benefit from their love and care as my Ellie has. We had such an incredible experience at Plum Oaks! Jody and Gail have created such a special environment for kids to grow. Not only are their skills with children incredible, one of the aspects I appreciated most about the school was their communication. I got to see pictures of what my kid was up to throughout the day which really gave me a window into how she was doing at school. I could also easily message with Jody and Gail about anything that came up and vice versa. My kid started during the pandemic, and they handled covid issues throughout responsibly and thoughtfully. They were great partners to help my kid work through developmental challenges and created unique solutions specific to her. I can't recommend Plum Oaks highly enough! We couldn't have asked for a better preschool experience.

Plum Oaks is amazing! My son started there when he was almost two, with no prior daycare experience. Jody and Gail are so nurturing, they eased him in with no problem and they immediately made us feel like "part of the family." They worked with us through new experiences, like getting him to nap away from home, and they do an excellent job communicating to parents. We love seeing photos of the kids doing all of their creative activities, including lots of time outdoors. We are so honored to be part of the "Plum Oaks Family!"

Plum Oaks is a special place, from the moment I drive onto the property looking at the Plum tree orchard, to seeing the raised beds of seasonal vegetables, and listening to the roosters start their morning from the chicken coop; I know that something good is happening here. Jody and Gail not only educate, they give space for growth and expression. They have a way of fostering behavior that nutures a bonding experience amongst the children. The classroom is comfortable and inviting and the curriculum builds a confidence within the children for when they transition from Plum Oakes on to the next adventure. Please take the time to at least visit the site-as I said, it is a special place, and remember to ask about the chalk rocks.

We had such a lovely experience at Plum Oaks. The level of thought and dedication Jody and Gail put into the curriculum and environment is unparalleled. They create a loving and nurturing space while also pushing the kids to learn and explore. Our daughter especially loved making smoothies and bread at school every week, exploring the garden, doing jobs with the animals, and playing in the carefully crafted playscape. We especially loved the clear communication and structure. We plan for our second child to attend as well when she is old enough.
