Pooh's Creative Learning Center

Oh my goodness love this daycare. All 3 of my kids attend this facility. The staff is so nice and professional. They communicate very well. My kids always come home talking about their day. It’s nice to have a facility where the staff really care about the kids. Thank you Lashonda and staff for all you guys do. You guys are truly a blessing.

Was great center overall . I loved my kids . There was a lot of things that I’m used to doing at other centers that she says that we can’t do and I respect that my only request is to pay people with their fully do and not mess with their hours and learn how to control and truly talk to employees without it going left overall being an employee there was some things I as an employee needed to work on, but her as an owner, there’s a lot it’s still very unorganized all over the place in sporadic if you ask me and please don’t get me started on the pay for me to be paid what I was paid is a understatement I request for any new employee she hired. Please pay them correctly and don’t pay half the center they pay in the other half half of theirs and say that you’re struggling in funds, but you’re able to buy Christmas for the kids and buy things for your employees but you can’t pay your employees fully even when they’re questioning you in person and on your phone other than that was a great center. Great set up. She just needs to sit down and one on one train her employees even though yes these are employees who should already know what they’re doing but as she stated before, when you were starting a new center, you need to be the one to train or have someone to specifically train your employees. That’s the only thing will major things that I request and didn’t like about this center and how she went about letting me go for helping another teacher because we are short staffed and only had one teacher to a room other than that Great set up Great center her as an owner just needs to work on those things, especially when it comes to pay and paying your employees rightfully what they are due and owed and not telling them to be patient with you or getting loud or raising your voice on camera in front of everyone and making it seem like they were just over hearing it. She needs to work on her communication how she speaks to others training, listening, and making sure she takes care of her employees and paying them correctly while taking care of the center

Rude and unprofessional all this daycare cares about is receiving their money not the health and welfare of the kids. I do not recommend this place. I highly recommend Learning for Life child development center daycare my daughter loved going there and I loved it there too

My 3 kids have been going to Pooh's for almost 3 years now. Haven't had any issues or concerns as far as safety or how my kids are learning. My 2 oldest are in school and were right on track as far as where they need to be thanks to Mrs. LaShonda and the teachers at Pooh's. Anytime there's been a complication (ex. Weather, City power, etc.) Mrs. LaShonda has always been very communicative on what's going on, solutions, and answered any questions I've had.

My son has been at PCLC for about a year now and i could not be happier he is well cared for and very loved he loves his teacher (jumps out of my arms when he sees her) and loves Ms.LaShanda my son is loved and treated so well i honestly couldn’t be more thankful. I went through a bad experience with a different DC and i am so thankful because Ms.LaShanda made me feel so secure in trusting my son to her! He only cried the 1st day that made me feel so calm. (Like he knew he was safe) My niece also attended for a short while and absolutely loved this center her friends and the teachers lol. (She is older and would tell me about everything they did) Not to mention that I love that they still follow Covid protocols! Which to me is amazing 🤩
