I received a Christmas gift basket from you guys. I can't thank you enough for the huge turkey and can goods etc... When I went to pick all my goodies I was greeted with a bunch of very friendly staff and or volunteers. This is like my 3rd year coming and will most definitely be back next year if you offer it again.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers for making my Christmas a little bit better.

Called for help yesterday. Been living in the woods for two months in Portage. Since I'm not an actual resident of the city a man on the phone basically said good luck and didn't do a thing to help. Oh, he did offer clothes. Real caring organization.

Portage Community Outreach Center is two places in one upstairs is the community outreach and downstairs is Family Health Center. Upstairs part of it is great they help people out and need with clothing certain days of the week and was food when in need they also help with paying for prescriptions and for shut-off notices. The downstairs which is a Medical Park Family Health Center for the most part it's a decent place it's a better location than the Patterson Street Family Health Center however I'm being in there a few times myself I've noticed that it's not very clean they don't have cleaning service or janitorial service or if they do there lacking in their responsibilities. I've been in there a few times and been in the same room a few times that I usually go in and when you look down at the floor for example the one-room has a spot either dry blood or human feces that has not been wiped clean or mopped and a few months now which to me that's very unsanitary unhealthy. As far as the Dr and the nurses and staff there polite and they're very nice as far as the cleanliness of the building not so much

I am sure this agency provides amazing service to those in need. Unfortunately they are not flexible in their donation hours, no evenings or weekends. Had alot of nice professional clothes to donate, but not able to go during working hours.
