Primrose School at KU Medical Center

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Primrose! From the moment we walked in (2020), we felt welcomed, supported, and reassured that our children were in loving hands. The staff and especially Ms. Jobe, Ms. V, Ms. Reyes, Ms. Courtney and Ms. Sharone are incredibly nurturing, professional, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and well-being. The environment is clean, cheerful, and thoughtfully designed to encourage learning through play. Our little ones have blossomed socially and developmentally since starting here—coming home every day excited to share new songs, crafts, and stories. We especially appreciate the regular updates, photos, and open communication from the teachers and director. It’s clear that Primrose prioritizes not just safety and education, but also creating a joyful and positive environment. We’re so grateful to have found this place—it truly feels like an extension of our family. Highly recommended to any parent looking for outstanding childcare!

We could not be happier with our experience at Primrose at KU Med. The staff are warm and nurturing, but also deeply professional and attentive to each child’s individual needs. Our toddler has learned so much since starting there. It’s incredible to see how quickly my child’s vocabulary has expanded and how excited he is to count, sing songs, recognize colors, and even talk about the world outside! He is learning how to share, follow simple routines, and express his feelings. The classrooms are bright, safe, and thoughtfully organized. The curriculum and daily activities are perfect for curious little minds. We also really appreciate the great communication from the staff. We get updates, photos, and always feel in the loop about what our child is doing and learning. We’re very grateful for Primrose at KU Med and can’t recommend them highly enough for any family!

The last 5 years my kids have attended Primrose at KU Med. It has been top notch since it opened, and they truly outdo themselves each year. They have great curriculum that has more than prepared my kids for kindergarten, awesome facilities, super fun playgrounds, and the kids have a great time here! The director is approachable and caring, and teachers and staff are simply amazing at what they do. Thank you for everything Primrose!

Our son attended Primrose at KU med when we first moved to the greater KC area. The staff and teachers did such a wonderful job making the transition seamless. All of the teachers truly care about each of their students, a trait that is exemplified in their day to day interactions with the kids. We are sad to be leaving due to moving, but we were so grateful for the time we had there.
