Primrose School of Hixson

Our child attended the Primrose in Knoxville and we were so impressed with the curriculum that when we moved, our first call was to the Primrose in Hixson. Along with the strong curriculum, what truly makes any organization is its people. Although there have been leadership changes over the years, its still maintained its structure and exceptional standards. Two teachers come to mind when it comes to exceptional staffing - Ms. Courtney and Ms. Jessica. I’ve told them time and time again how much I value their candid feedback, transparency, partnership, support and especially love for the children. Their positivity in teaching classes has been paramount in my son’s success. My son loves Ms. Courtney so much that he brings her flowers every chance he gets! Ms. Jessica has even progressed from a teaching position to a leadership position with the school. It’s wonderful to see the organization promote strong internal talent and reward them for their hard work. With these two at the helm they would do wonders together! I look forward having my son continue to learn from them. I highly recommend the school and the wonderful staff. Don’t look anywhere else. This is the top school in Hixson!

The teachers at Primrose Hixson truly make the experience. We love Ms. Samantha in the preschool pathways classroom. The curriculum is amazing and has my daughter learning so much. They really stay in tune with what children should be learning at their age. Ms. Samantha is very good at communicating as well. I am also thankful for Ms. Jessica who is now in a leadership role and her communication as well. I cannot be more thankful for the group of teachers that do this job with such grace!

Our family has been at Primrose for more than 6 years with our 3rd child now enrolled in the school. There certainly was a transition period with new ownership, but things appear to have stabilized and we are still very happy. The curriculum, facility, and food are all very good. The teachers are top notch. Ms. Jessica at the front desk is on top everything and a great ambassador for the school. Ms. Chloe helps out with anything, and she is so sweet and hard working. In the infant room, we have loved Ms. Morgan and Ms. Alyssa. They both worked with my baby to get him to take a bottle. Morgan has been a really solid teacher throughout the years, and Alyssa gives baby cuddles and sends lots of pictures on the app. The infant room support staff, including Ms. Karen, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Kayla, are all so kind, and we are excited to be in Ms. Libby’s room when we move up. Ms. Courtney is great with the older kids and my daughter comes home with all this information I didn’t even know she was learning already. Ms. Heather in the preschool room is a professional with kids and so good with potty training. Ms. Samantha also is also really sweet to the middle age kids. Ms. Abby in the toddler room is very loving and also been at Primrose for several years. Chef Amanda is so thoughtful and makes sure my daughter gets fed even if we show up late after she’s passed out food. Ms. Riya treats our family like we are special and let’s my daughter feel important with special tasks and treats. I could go on and on, but the teachers here are a huge part of raising our children and in ways feel like family. This school a wonderful community, and I’ve made many friends here.

My daughter has attended Primrose from 4 months of age until now (she's about to graduate Preschool), the teachers are amazing! ✨Ms. Betty was the best with smaller children! ✨Ms. Heather is absolutely phenomenal, the kids really enjoyed her class and bonded so much!!! ✨Ms. Courtney and Ms. Jessica are fantastic with the Preschool age children, I love how they are creative with the curriculum, I feel that my daughter is truly prepared for Kindergarten!

Thankful we stayed with primrose hixson, our two daughters are thriving! Happy to have repeat teachers for our second, especially Ms. Morgan and Ms. Libby! I have so much confidence in those two it makes leaving our 8mo so easy! I also want to give a shout out to Ms. Alyssa I've seen such a big improvement in our oldest in terms of her eagerness to go to class and the excitement she has about the things she's learning. If it weren't for these teachers, I'm not sure I would get through my day as easily.
