Primrose has been a great school for my son. It is a very clean and welcoming school. Staff are all so friendly with little to no turn over in teachers whatsoever (that we have experienced). Primrose also has a wonderful curriculum :) He has learned so much in the two years he has been there and is absolutely ready for Kindergarten! I also love that they do regular parades and class parties. Primrose is pricier compared to other schools, but it has been well worth every penny. I would choose Primrose again and again if I could.

We have been so happy and pleased with our experience at Primrose Midlothian Village and have had at least one child there continuously from 2019 through 2025 from infant care to private kindergarten and explorers summer camp. Our children have always been safe, loved, and cared for at Primose, but most importantly, our children have absolutely loved their experience at Primrose and adored their teachers. The skill-building and character-based curriculum is fantastic, and our oldest entered elementary school extremely well prepared based on the preparation he received at Primrose. The administration has always been receptive to feedback, responsive, and professional. The communication with parents has been top notch. The extra events that Primrose sponsors including Fall fest, spring fling, a valentine's love bug dance, pre-K and private K graduation ceremonies, holiday concerts, holiday/seasonal parties, etc are wonderful. It seems that most childcare centers are affected by teacher turnover, but Primrose has overall handled that issue very well, and the administration works so hard to reward, recognize, and retain their wonderful staff and teachers. As a parent, it's hard to know what the best childcare & early education philosophy is for your child based on their individual needs that also aligns with your own work schedule and childcare needs, so you just have to do your research, ask a million questions, and talk to parents who have children at the program. Overall, our experience at Primrose Midlothian Village has far exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them.

Our experience with Primrose School of Midlothian Village location has been a mix of positive and extremely concerning aspects. We choose this location over three years ago because of the facility cleanliness, conducive hours for two full time working parents, location convenience, and meal plan. The toddler and early preschool programs are great. We felt our child was well supervised and cared for based on the staffing ratio and support provided. All of the teachers our child had had over the years have been compassionate and invested in your child’s life. In addition to the positive toddler and early preschool program, our family enjoyed the very well put together events outside of the class which were great for building a community for our child. We have loved the relationships made with families that will be apart of our child’s life for years to come. We experienced concerns with Primrose School of Midlothian Village transition from preschool to the private PreK program. Primrose prides itself on having children kindergarten ready upon completion of their PreK as evidenced by the program aligning the PreK state guidelines for kindergarten standards. The large classroom size, staff turnover, minimal free play, lack the knowledge of developmentally appropriate action for social/emotional growth to include correction is a major concern for both the preschool and PreK programs. This location will report they are 1:10 ratio, however classroom size has been up to 24 during our almost 3 1/2 year experience. Our family experienced great difficulty with the leadership team since September 2024. The leadership staff handled feedback regarding safety issues and communication unprofessionally. This became incredibly frustrating and contributed to the atmosphere becoming less respectful and supportive, which ultimately broke our trust for this school to provide quality care for our child. The leadership team has spoke out of scope on multiple occasions for a childcare facility, and undermined our concerns with the care this facility provides. We trusted Primrose School of Midlothian Village, and our family was extremely let down. We made an incredibly challenging choice to remove our child which presented significant disruption to our lives and fear for impact of the transition on our child. We were provided the opportunity to share our concerns based on our experience to the facility owner who was professional and understanding. I hope sharing our family’s experience will help other families make informed decisions and hopefully promote improvements at this location for the future.

Teachers are very nice and give lots of care to our daughter. She’s made a couple of good friends at school which is great. Transitioning from class to class is also smooth. Additionally, we very much appreciated that the PSP class has made her potty training as easy as possible.

Both of my children attend Primrose, they started in the infant and toddler classes and are now in preK and private kindergarten. We are very happy here. They treat us like family. I like the curriculum and we love all the teachers. The administration is always on top of things, they don’t miss a beat. I highly recommend Primrose of midlothian village.
